I'M SO SORRY ABOUT THE LACK OF UPDATES I'VE BEEN CRAZY BUSY!
10 Chapters out! Yay!
Eliza's POV
I woke up cuddled up to my best friend.
Again.
"Braedey, what time is it?" I asked "about eight thirty" he replied "oh ok, another half an hour." I whined back. "go away!" I complained as he attempted to pull me out of bed, with very little success. "wakey wakey Lizard!" he teased. "dude take the hint, leave me be!" I snapped turning over. Braedey was my very best friend, but he wasn't half annoying sometimes. "I'm going to go do some training, I want you up by the time I'm done" he teased opening the 'door' while making as much noise as possible. And letting as much light in as possible. I groaned and rolled over, trying to go back to sleep.
3rd person POV
Braedey climbed down the ladder and turned around and he saw an old man standing there. This man looked to be in his late 70s maybe early 80s. he was just wearing what looked like rags. His walking stick was almost double his height and looked to be an old tree branch. "can I help you?" Braedey asked "as a matter of fact you can, go get your girlfriend and then come with me, there's something I want to show you" the man smiled. "one, Eliza is not my girlfriend, and two who are you?" Braedey asked "don't ask questions! You'll know what you need to know when you need to know it" the man replied. "fine I'll go get Eliza but if I get killed in the process it's your fault." Braedey replied. "stop complaining and go get her!" the man snapped "fine, fine, fine." Braedey replied and climbed the ladder. "ELIZABETH MAYELLA CORBISHALY GET UP!" Braedey yelled. Eliza didn't move. "LIZARD AWAKEN!" he yelled again. "just drag her already, I don't have all day." The man growled. "ok I'm coming, alto Braedey's death would have been entertaining." Eliza growled "come on I don't have all day!" the man growled. "yanno he reminds me of my dad, always one step ahead of the others and always gets cranky when others can't keep up" Braedey explained "ok so you think this guy could be your dad?" Eliza asked "maybe but I have no idea about that" Braedey replied and kept on walking. "fair enough" Eliza replied.
After 15 minutes of walking...
"alright stay here and I'll go get your surprise, no peeking!" the man hissed and disappeared into a small rusted metal shed. "who or what do you think he's getting?" Eliza asked "your guess is as good as mine" Braedey replied "who do you want us to go-" a woman asked but stopped when she saw the two teens. "mum?" Eliza asked "Eliza?" the woman asked. "Braedey?" the man asked "dad?" Braedey responded. "Eliza, introductions and catch up will have to wait, there's someone you need to see and fast" the woman said grabbing Eliza's hand and leading her into the shelter.
The shelter its self was rusty and falling apart, but if you were desperate for some shelter from the elements, this place was like a palace. The woman lead Eliza down some slippery and muddy wooden steps and to a rusted wooden door, which the woman gently knocked on "James honey, it's me Leigh-Anne. I'm coming in and I've got someone I want you to meet" Leigh-Anne called before opening the door. The room was dark and damp, the walls looked to be made or mud and the celling had wood to stop it all falling down on top of whoever was in the room, the room being made of mud it didn't have a lot of furniture, a seat, a bed and a sofa were all made of mud, they had old torn blankets on them and were quite warn down. On the bed there was a person, he had curly ginger hair that was clearly overgrown he had warm brown eyes with a greenish tint to them. He looked to be in his early to mid-forties he was wearing blue overalls with a white t-shirt underneath. His usual hansom features were covered in dried blood, mud and whatever else they had found in the last five years. "dad?" Eliza asked as she stepped closer to the man "my little lizard!" he smiled. "what happened to you?" she asked taking his hand. "just a bit of a cold" he smiled hugging her "yeah a cold, an infection a deep cut and a lack of immunity due to poor hygiene" Leigh-Anne added glaring at her husband "Lee-Lee, I-" the man started "what? You wanted to keep it from her, like everything else in her life?" Leigh-Anne snapped "James admit it you're pretty much on your death bed, unless we can get you to a hospital in the next three days, you're as good as dead!" Leigh-Anne snapped. "I wasn't going to put it like that but ok" James replied

"so how have you been the few months I've been away?" Nathan asked. Nathan Martin looked to be an older version of Braedey, bright blue eyes, messy brown hair. Nathan had a faded scar over his left eye, he was a little taller than Braedey. He looked to be in his mid-forties and he was covered in cuts, bruises, dried blood, mud and whatever else had decided to stick to him over the five years he'd been out here. "dad" Braedey replied looking shocked "it's been five years, I'm sixteen, Heather is fourteen, Kida is eighteen, and mum is forty next month." Braedey replied "oh" Nathan said "so that means I'm forty-one now, wow I feel old" Nate smiled. "yeah, Kida is studying medicine, I'm amazing in combat, Heather is still as psychotic as when you left" Braedey smiled. Nate smiled a little "and Naomi?" Nate asked still smiling "mum took a bad hit after you left, almost lost her job, we had to move house in the end. The Rivers are looking after lightning" Braedey replied. Nate's smile faded. "oh, I didn't think me disappearing would hurt you all that bad, I'm sorry" Nate replied "that's the point, you just disappeared! If you were dead, where was your body so we could at lest greave? And if you were alive, which you are, why did you leave? And why wouldn't you come home to us? Why?" Braedey asked lowering his head. "Braedey I-" Nate began "you what? You didn't want us?" Braedey snapped "hey, hey calm down, let me explain" Nate said calmly. Braedey calmed down, enough for Nate to explain. "I wasn't born Nathan Martin, I changed my name to Nathan after I met your mother. I was born Adam Tracy." Nate or Adam sighed. Braedey stared at his father in shock. "you're a Tracy?" Braedey asked surprised. "yeah, and Leigh-Anne was born Sophia Tracy" Nate/Adam replied. "ok, so start from the beginning, you were born Adam Tracy correct?" Braedey asked "correct" Nate/Adam replied. "so why did you change your name to Nathan Martin?" Braedey asked. Nate/Adam sighed. "because us Tracy's were being hunted, it was just a game, a challenge if you will, to the people who hunted us. They didn't see a family, they didn't see human beings. No, they saw animals and money." Nate/Adam explained.
(Flashback)
"Kida, or Kira as she was born, was about one when they came after me and Sophia, my sister."
It showed Adam looking happy with what looked to be a much older Kida/Kira, then the scene changed to what looked to be a hospital. Adam was holding a baby Kira. A tear was running down his face as the woman from earlier lay dead on a hospital bed.
"Me, Joe and Alan decided to give Soph some space for a few days so we took the kids to Mars for a holiday, using Thunderbird three of course."
Adam is seen hugging what looked to be a slightly smaller, female version of him. Later the same woman looks scared for her life at the sight of a burned blonde boy about her age.
"Soph's husband and son were also on thunderbird three when it blew up. I have no idea what happened to them. But I do know that I washed up on a beach somewhere in Australia. Kira was clinging to me."
Adam and Kira looked to be drowned, barely breathing. A younger Naomi looked shocked to see Adam and Kira. She knelt down to help them only for Adam to pass out while Kira carried on crying.
"your mother Naomi, nursed me and Kira back to health, I explained the situation to her and she was more than kind enough to let us stay for a while, and let's just say your mother and I got along well, probably a bit too well, Naomi found out she was expecting just as me and Kira were about to go back to Tracy Island. I told Naomi that I would stay and help raise the kid."
Adam and Naomi looked to be happy holding a baby that had a small tuft of brown hair on it's head.
"and no matter how much I wanted to go home, I was determined to help your mother. When I met Leigh-Anne I knew she was Sophia. She told me that she'd done something similar"
Adam or Nathan is now sat in an interview room, across from him are two people, one looked to be a slightly older version of the woman from before and a man with ginger hair. Leigh-Anne and James Corbishaly. The owners of Corbishaly logistics.
"we soon found out that the people who originally tried to murder us were after us again, we faked our deaths again, it's not that we like doing it, but I am proud of you for finding me" Adam smiled
Nathan, Leigh-Anne and James are standing over a crashed bus, they looked a bit beat up but otherwise alright. Adam's face slowly changes to show Braedey's, showing how much the pair were alike.
(End of flashback)
"so that's why you disappeared, why you left us." Braedey realized. "yes, and every day I wanted to go home to you, and your sisters and your mother and even the cat" Adam laughed.
