Lena stood in front of me although I hadn't seen her in years. The last time I saw her she was a 12 year old girl who was eager to learn the wonders of the world, now she was a 30 year old woman who looked like she had learned everything there was to learn about the world. Her eyes were the same bright green they were 18 years ago although they held wisdom behind them now instead of curiosity. She had small bags under her eyes as evidence to show for her years of struggle. Her lips were firm and plum awaiting the kiss I had wanted to give her when she was leaving for her aunt may's house in Nevada all those years ago. Her shoulders were broad yet feminine and strong as though she had carried a heavy burden gracefully on them many times throughout her years; yet despite that her posture held all the strength and confidence of someone with great power. As she walked towards me her breasts had a small bounce to them making me noticed just how full figured Lena had become. Her hips swayed from side to side with every step she took towards me; and her red high waisted pencil skirt made her already tiny waist look even smaller and her hips look bigger.

Lena is one of the top defence lawyers in Nevada. She is known for being one of the most ruthless prosecutors of all time, and she has never lost a case. I had heard yesterday that she was coming back to Sleepy Hollow for a case but I didn't think it was true. Lena hadn't come back once since she went to her aunt's, not even when her childhood best friend Lola had gotten married, if someone who was practically family couldn't get her to come back I had no doubt that work would either, but I guess the Lena I use to know was no longer the one that stood in front of me now. Even though I knew Lena had changed into a completely different person it didn't change the feelings that were building up again for her. I knew even when I was a little boy that Lena was the only one for me, now I just have to convince Lena of that and judging by the flat look on her face that was going to be a difficult task. "Hello Scott, it's been a long time hasn't it?" she was so formal she never called me Scott always Scotty, and although her voice sounded some what happy to see me after 18 years her facial expression didn't change, it was like she was wearing a mask. "Hey Lena it's good to see you, you look great how have you been?" "Thank you, and I've been good just working a lot but I love my job so I don't mind." Again she was acting like she was talking to a complete stranger, and her facial expression didn't change. "That's great, why don't we go for lunch and catch up I'd love to hear about your life after you left Sleepy Hollow." I was hoping to start with just a simple lunch and get her to be comfortable around me again and maybe see her smile. At the very least I would get to spend a little time with her, that was all I was hoping for right now. "Look Scott, I left Sleepy Hollow for a reason and the ONLY reason I'm back is because of this case; as soon as it's over I'm going back to Nevada. My life is there now and that's the way it's going to stay, so catching up with each other is pointless and a waste of both of our times; so with that said it was nice seeing you again and have a good day." And with that she turned and walked out the door not waiting for my reply, not that I had one. I was shocked at how she acted and I just stood there and watched her walking out of my life for the second time.
