He watches as a blast comes flying at him, but being Boba Fett, he easily dodges it. He fires a shot, killing the attacker. He stills when he doesn't hear a remark that would usually come from his sister.
"Omega! Where are you?" Boba yelled.
There's no answer but he does hear light coughing coming from behind him.
He turns around to see his sister, coughing at what seems like nothing, maybe some kicked up sand. But then he sees it.
The dark red liquid seeping out from her small hand that was hiding the wound.
Boba rushes over to Omega, but he can see it in her eyes... he's too late.
"Boba, I'm fine." She says with a smirk on her face.
Oh her damn stubbornness, something she's sadly inherited from the Fett genes.
"Omega stop that, you're hurt. Let me get you back to ship. I'll help you... I can help you."
Omega lets out a painful laugh while she slowly shakes her head.
"Boba, there's nothing you can do for me, what's done is done. Just sit here with me. Please." She so calmly says. She attempts to lower herself onto the ground but is miserably failing.
Boba grabs her before she falls and lays her down. He sits behind her so he can prop her head up on his thighs while she looks at the sky above them. It was a beautiful sunset, too bad the suns were setting on such a sad moment.
Boba looks down at Omega, watching her breathing falter. He had just found out he had a sister, that he had family still, and now she was dying in his arms.
He watches as she's desperately clinging onto life now, the suns light streaming into her already honey brown eyes, making them look so pure.
"I have failed you ad'ika"
"No vod, you didn't fail me. You showed me who I truly am. A Fett."
She gives him one last smile, with that innocent twinkle in her eyes, then it's gone.
Boba had sat there with Omega in his arms, hoping by some grace of the force that she'd awaken, but it never happened.
He had lost his father as a young boy.
Now he lost his sister.
He had no more family.
He was now, truly alone.
