Out For Days

Natasha pov
I wake up, roll over and look at the clock.
1:13
Fuckkkkk, I said to myself. Before I did anything else, I remembered everything. I quickly rushed to take a shower. Hoping and hoping, I would walk downstairs and see her sitting on the couch smiling at me. I finished my shower and rushed downstairs, walking into the kitchen, Pepper stood there, blocking the way to the med room, with a plate in her hands. I knew she wouldn't let me through, not until I ate anyways. So I did. Wow. I said to myself. This was the first time I ate more than an apple since y/n got hurt. It was kinda refreshing.

I finished eating and went to see y/n. Still out. It's been a week. I still had hope left. I decided today I was going to get some fresh air. I told Pepper I was going out, got in my car and left. I stopped and my favorite smoothie shop and got a strawberry-banana smoothie with lots or protein in it to keep me going.

Next I went to the collage that y/n goes to, I got all over work excused and the work for the next week. I also stopped by her dorm room and let her friends know what's going on.
After that I went to y/n's favorite stores and picked her up some things. First stop: Katie's. There I picked up a pair of shorts that had weird checkered pattern on it, she always liked stuff like that, along with a top to go with it. Next was b&v. There, I picked up a pretty dress, it was fitted and a dark red. Along with some silver jewelry to match. I never realized how expensive that place was or how she afforded anything from there, she's a college student. But I got it anyways. I went into another store and got her a black blanket with hints of red, with a light brown teddy bear. This was a rare site to see me carrying stuff like this but it was worth it. Y/n deserved it, if she ever woke back up. I stopped and got her some new perfume, it was a warm vanilla sent, but also had a little spice to it. I got her a new hoodie and tight, curled up roses. This way they would last longer if she didn't wake in the next few days. I stopped and got myself my perfume and a few new shirts as well.

I left the mall and got late lunch for myself and went back to the compound. I returned and headed up to my room and I nicely laid everything out on my chair, making it look cute for when she wakes.
I never seen myself to care for an individual so much, but caring like this brought joy and I'd do it over and over again for her.

Later on y/n's friends stopped by to see her. I showed them to the med room where she was. Still out.
"When do you think she will wake up?" One of them asked

"Bruce says she's lucky to still be breathing, he's shocked she's still living. So...we aren't really sure" I said.

Two of them started crying, we let them stay for a while and talked with them. Found out a little more about y/n and they told stories and so did we. 5:30 comes around. And they have left by now.

Yelena and I leave for dinner. We go to this nice restaurant and just talk. We catch up some more and tell more stories. After we go to a movie, just to get out of the house.
