"I... I'm sorry," a man's voice whispered as his legs began to be covered in ice.

He was surrounded by countless creatures that was no longer alive and soon he will follow them too. The sky was covered with dark clouds that hovered above the battlefield making it seem like it will rain.

The man looked around only to see his precious home destroyed. His town was no longer as he remembered as buildings were broken from the fight. He could only sigh low as he looked at his right palm wich was holding a broken piece of his weapon. All that was left was a handle that was made of a rare black stone while cracks were visible. He smiled as he bent his back forward and placed it on the ground where blood of the entities and his allies met.

"Thank you...for staying with me until now," the man said as he straightened himself and ice crept from his feet slowly and steadily towards his abdomen

"This is where we will depart. Old friend, may we meet on the better side of things," the man said as he looked forward and the ice reached his chest. He inhaled a deep one, feeling his lungs crackle and freeze. His heart already frozen and he closed his eyes for what will be forever.

"I'm sorry everyone...for failing every one of you," the man whispered with a tear dropping to his cheeks. Not one second was wasted and he was fully covered in ice.

9,941 Years Later

"Pull!", a gruff voice shouted as a group of 10 people used all their strength to pull a thick rope. 5 more ropes with the same number of people were beside them and was pulling at the same time while the other end of the ropes were below a melted circular lake. The temperature was too cold and the hails were not of help to their current situation. Even with their thick clothes made of fur from animals were not enough to stop them from shivering. But somehow, something is melting this part of lake.

Just behind the people heaving were tents set up for rests and a particular one was a circular shaped where their leaders gather and make meetings. There you could see a lady wearing a helmet that belongs to our well known vikings, the helmet was simply made of metal but the horns, well horn was made of a magic ice. The left horn seems to be missing and her armor was made well to suit the temperature. She slowly walked inside the tent where another man was standing as guard.

"How's the progress?" the man asked as he looked at the woman.

"Seems we're doing good, whatever that made it stuck was clearly gone and is being raised. We should see the result by later this evening Olaf," the girl replied and the man nodded.

Olaf was wearing something thin for such a weather but he seems unfazed by the temperature, his gold colored beard and mustache was dangling down to his chest and behind him was a pair of axe.

"What is it that the diver found for him to cause such ruckus?" Olaf asked with a scoff and the lady could only raise her shoulders implying she does not know either.

The lady walked futher inside where a large wooden table was and another man was seated on the far edge. The man was wearing a bear's skin that covered his head all the way to his back. Beneath it was a dark kimono like clothes that reached below his knees along with a wooden sandal.

"Ah, Sejuani. What brings you today?" The man asked calmly.

"Udyr, why are we doing this?" The lady replied with a hint of annoyance in her tone. The man noticed this and could only sigh deeply.

"That thing can be a turning point to overcome the Avarosans. I don't know what it is but the spirits are tingling in its prescence, this could be our last chance," Udyr commanded.
