I left the class as soon as I could and went to the rooftop. I couldn't hide my horns any longer. It happens sometimes, my head starts aching a lot and that's why i sleep all the time. sleeping just makes me stronger. I lock the terrace door, take my horns out, and scream in pain.
breathe, y/n. the pain will go away slowly.
I massage my head a bit and then withdraw my horns back. eyeing the terrace door, I wear a beanie and bolt towards the exit. The day goes by normally, school ends, and I go to the cafe.
our cashier wanted another week off so I agreed to cover for him since I know how it feels to miss family...
I do the usual and start cleaning the tables, it was almost noon, then came the 9th set of customers, total 7 of them. They walked in and sat on the barstools near the barista station. kim seokjin, jeon jungkook, kim taehyung, jung hoseok, kim namjoon, min yoongi and park jimin.
"hey... y/n!" seokjin exclaimed after reading my name tag. "what is today's special?"
green tea.
it was green tea.
but no one likes that, so I said what I said.
"we have boba and patisseries as our specials for today."
I am evil, after all.

"here's your order, sir." 7 boba teas and a 15 piece box of donuts. nice.
"y/n, why don't you come sit with us? you've worked hard." seokjin says while extending a donut to me. I tell them that it's my job and I don't want to interrupt their group. but he just extends a donut to me and asks me to at least eat the donut. I couldn't say no to that now.
I ate my donut, washed some mugs, and started cleaning the tables. they stayed and talked for a long time. It was currently 7:45, I served some other customers that came in, and prepared to close the cafe.
"hey I'm sorry to interrupt, but it's 10:30, closing time. the nightshift crew isn't here so that's why we'll be closing early."
I politely asked them to get the fuck out. did you really meet after a thousand years?
"no it's okay, we were just waiting for closing time." taehyung spoke with a grin, walking towards me. I tripped and hurt my head, which made my horns pop out.
my vision became blurry, and all I saw, was a worried seokjin.
"let the truth be heard, y/n."
