Every day, the Sun shone bright

He showed his power through sunlight

He gave off his warmth to the Earth by the day,

But come to the night, he was all tucked away.

He let himself down to bring the Moon out

And gave her his light to lift her about.

She shown so bright in the light of his Love

as they danced about in the sky up above,

As the Sun dimmed, the Moon would soar higher

and her beautiful light would only grow brighter.

The Sun left the scene and the night grew cold

But the Moon glistened gaily, her beauty untold.

All through the night would the Moon seem to shine

until her Sun said it was time for decline.

The Moon drew down while the Sun rose up

and once again, they danced in their Love.

Lower and lower would the Moon go,

Higher and Higher would the sun grow.

The danced and danced 'till the night drew to its end

Then the Moon disappeared under her Sun again.
