Underneath the Stars

~ 2 ~

Day 2 - 7:05 AM

As the sun peeked over the walls of the bigg boss jungle, shining into the house Tejasswi stirred in her sleep. The entire house was silent. Everyone was still asleep since yesterday all of the contestants had stayed awake till quite late talking and getting to know each other. Yet, there was one soul who was wide awake, wandering around the jungle. 

He made his way to the kitchen and started opening the drawers and cabinets looking for something. He was careful to be quiet, he did not want to wake anyone up, every one was already exhausted. 

As he found the carton of milk he poured it into a patila and put that over the gas. That is when he first heard footsteps. Turning around Karan saw a sleepy Tejasswi making her way towards him. 

"Good Morning" she whispered sleepily 

"Morning" he responded

That is when he took a good look at her. Hair disheveled and still yawning. 

"Chai?" he asks 

"Yes please" she mumbles sliding on top of the counter. Crossing her legs she made herself comfortable on the kitchen counter beside where he was preparing the tea. 

After moments of silent pass Karan speaks up

"Did I wake you?" Karan asks as he pours the tea into two cups. 

Tejasswi shakes her head in a no as she yawns again. "Disturbed sleep, that's all" 

He nods, handing her one of the cups. She takes it and slides of the counter. Both of them, chai in hand, make their way to the bench. 

"Kaise lage sab?" Tejasswi asks

But before Karan could respond Jay makes his way up to them. 

"Arey dono itni jaldi kyu uth gaye?" He says sitting down beside Karan 

"Bas neend tuth gayi" Karan responds "Tu bata tu itni jaldi kaise uth gaya?" 

"Kuch nahi yaar, aadat se majbur. Ghar mein meri beti 7 baje itna halla machaati hai ki sab uth jaate hai...body clock" 

Tejasswi chuckles 

"Kya lagta yeh baaki ke teen kab aayenge?" she asks 

"Pata nahi, shaayad do teen ghante mein aajayenge" Jay responds 

That is when he notices the mugs of tea both of them have 

"Yeh sahi hai, mujhe bhi chahiye chai" Jay says

"Arey patile main abhi bhi thodi baaki hai. Lele kitchen ke counter par rakhi hai" Karan responds 

Jay leaves the two of them to grab some tea for himself. 

Tejasswi takes this opportunity to speak. 

"Chai bahut achi hai Karan" Tejasswi says as she takes another sip 

"Thank you" he says smiling 

Day 2 - 9:00 AM

Everyone wakes up to blasting music. Some who have the energy get up and dance while others sit and watch, still half asleep. 

"Good Morning BiggBoss!" Vishal screams as soon as the music fades. 

"Chalo chalo sab uth jaate hai phir kaam waam bhi baat lete hai" Donal says as she folds her sleeping bag

"Arey bathroom toh do hi hai, pehele kaun use karega" Meisha asks aloud 

" Jo pehele pohocha woh" No sooner had the words left Umar's mouth he jumped out of his sleeping bag, grabbed his toiletries from his suit case and ran into the washroom.
