The sun rose over the hills, the birds were chirping as the morning fog began to clear out, a village that was located at the bottom of mountains had begun to light up with life. People were coming out of their houses and were chatting among one another, smiling, and talking about their lives, it was a beautiful morning. Inside one of the small village's homes, a young boy had already woken up and ran across the other side of his house, creaking to open to another room and looking over to a larger bed as happy gasps protruded from his mouth.

He giggled as he ran over to the bed and tried to desperately climb up its side, his little legs gripped at the soft blankets. He rolled his small body over the edge of the bed as he sat up and looked around the soft mattress, his eyes falling onto a lump that slowly rose and fell with its soft breathing. The small boy crawled himself over to said lump and placed his hands on the blanket-covered figure and patted his hands up and down on it repeatedly, giggling slightly with pure excitement,

"Mama! Wake up!" The little boy squealed out. The blanket covered lump let out a small groan that was muffled by the pillow, the figure rolled over as the blankets uncovered them, revealing a woman. Her hair was a crisp red and her eyes were a tired, dark shining green, her cheeks were pale and rosy, small specks of sunlight washed over her face as she sat up in the bed and rubbed her eyes.

She looked over to the small boy as her eyes blinked to take the focus of his body in, trying to also fully wake her mind back up so she could properly speak to the little boy in front of her. Her eyes slowly looked over his face, it was shaped to be soft and slightly more round, small tints and pink were peeking around his cheeks as his face was scrunched up from a toothy smile towards the lady. The red-haired lady looked at the boy and with a blank face her hand reached out to him as she slowly combed her fingers through his soft black hair, the small curls bouncing back as they slipped through her fingertips.

The boy reached out and gripped his mother's hand as his matching green eyes looked at her in wonder. The woman only stared, she turned her head and looked out the window, she lifted her hand to shield her eyes from blazing sunlight that attacked her eyes, couldn't have been over an hour since sunrise, voices were heard outside and she sighed.

It's not that she was upset, although she was a bit at a loss, she had a different life before she came to live in the village, a life much grander. She had come from a higher class family and her parents were fairly wealthy, sometimes she'll think back on that life, missing it, although there was a reason why she left, why she HAD to leave.

Not to mention the situation that had gone down not too long ago, almost a month had passed since it happened, Morro's attack. The red-haired lady winced at the thought of the ghostly man, although her emotions told her that she should feel sad, after all, she lost a family member that day. Yes, the lady in fact was related to none other than Morro, their childhood and their story together however was a bit complicated.

The lady and Morro were cousins, they were related through her father and his father, although her family was more wealthy than Morros, they used to play together when they were young, until one day she and her family stopped hearing from him or his parents. It was as if they never existed, their memories were just dreams, their laughter was just the leaves, flowing through the wind.

Growing up the lady practiced her studies, was well mannered, but something was off about her, sometimes her smile was just some sort of mask, some sort of lie. She met a man one day, he was kind, he was humorous, sometimes when she looked at him she could see the moon, something bright within the dark for her. You could say she fell in love with him, although it was a foreign feeling to her. The lady didn't feel emotions like regular people, sometimes she was just a blank page, apathetic at most.
