Chapter -3 Part -6

Horikita POV

After Ayanokoji left me and Ichinose finished our preparation and then Ichinose took out her mobile to call Ryuen.

"Let just hope your plan works, Horikita-san," Ichinose said.

I don't like that statement and the fact this is Ayanokoji's plan and he used me as cover, I don't like it at all. But for now, there's nothing I can do about it. I look towards Ichinose she was trying to contact Ryuen.

Ayanokoji's plan was simple. I and Ichinose will call Ryuen out here while he persuaded the other two students to take back their complaints. Since it's Ichinose who going to call him Ryuen not able to ignore us. Ayanokoji going to use Sakura to further pressure them to take action. Without Ryuen students from class C had to take action on their own.

But there is still so much uncertainty around his plan like what if Ryuen never showed up here or what if those two students from class c didn't agree to Ayanokoji's terms. This is a very risky plan. Given the time we got this is the best plan. Now I can say for sure that my decision to save Ayanokoji is not a waste of time.

"Ryuen just messages me, he said he's coming," Ichinose said. The first part of our plan is complete, now we need to hold him off here as long as possible. I hide behind the corner of the nearest wall.

Ten minutes later Ryuen shows up. His hands were in his pockets. He had a coccky expression on his face. Overall he looks like a person who overestimates themselves. There is no one on his side so he would come here alone. I had no idea how Ichinose going to hold off Ryuen here, we didn't talk about that.

"So why did you call me here Ichinose? If it's a love confession you could choose a better time," Ryuen said mockingly.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Ryuen-Kun. You know very well, why you are here? I have proof that it's you who beat up the students from class c, your class," Ichinose showed him the picture which Ayanokoji take on the day of the fight. In the photo, Ryuen was standing near the other students from class c.

"This photo proves nothing," He said and laugh. This photo indeed proves nothing but we not trying to prove anything here.

"Don't worry we have many more of these," Ichinose lied without any hint of hesitation.

"Then show me," Ryuen said.

"Why should I?" Ichinose said back. For a few moments, Ryuen did say anything that he took out his mobile phone.

Oh no, if he contacts other students our plan would fail. Without thinking much, I come out from my hiding place and snatch his phone before he contacts anyone.

"Can stay without your lackeys," I said. Ryuen looked at me and smiled.

"I get it what you up to. You want to isolate me from the others. It's an interesting plan. Now I wonder how he going to force them to chicken out," He said. How does he know about our plan?

"I have no idea what's you talking about?" I said.

"You don't need to hide it anymore, Suzune," He said as snatched his phone back.

"I don't remember permitting you to call me by my first name," I said. I don't like when people use my first name without my consent.

"You should stop fooling around, Ryuen-Kun," Ichinose said.

"You don't need to worry about it, Ichinose. I was just testing him, to see if he's a real deal or not. I'm more interested to know why you helping him," Ryuen asked.

"It's is because class C allied with class d and it's only natural to help your alley," Ichinose said. I don't think it was a good idea to tell Ryuen about our alliance.

"Hahaha. An alliance with a bunch of idiots. Well, whatever. Suzune, tell him to get ready because, by the time I have done with him, he going to beg for mercy," Ryuen said more like threatened and then left. Hopefully, Ayanokoji had enough time to finish his side of the plan.

Ayanokoji POV

"Hey, stop. I need to talk to you guys for a second," I stopped them before they could enter the building. They have bandages on their face and hands. After realising who I am, they smirked.

"What did you want, beat us more. Listen, we don't want to talk to you. We already suffering because of you," One of them said. They putting their best efforts into this. Is this because they really want to expel me or are they afraid of Ryuen.

Before I had no idea how Ryuen way of ruling the class would be effective. I must say, it's quite effective. He can beat up his own classmates to accuse others and place students like spies or watchmen. He can do anything, use any strategies and no one from his class would stand against him. It's quite a talent to be able to achieve that level of grip on a group of people.

"I understand you don't want to talk to me but you'll talk to her," I said as I pointed behind me. At first, they didn't recognise her because she was not in her usual attire but as soon as she put her glasses on, their expressions change into shock. Good, I don't need to explain who is she to them. That saves me lots of trouble.

"You guys lock her in that storeroom for the whole night," I said. We don't know who pushed Sakura into the storeroom but judging from their reaction it has to be them.

"I..... don't know........what you talking about," One of them said. He shutters his while sentence. A common reaction of those who are not very good at lying and hiding their emotion.

"Then why you shutter. You know that what you guys did to her is considered bullying and this school did not take bullying lightly. At worse you could be expelled from this school," I said making them realise the threat they face.

"You have no proof that we lock her in that storeroom," They said.

"We have the video recording from CCTV camera which clearly show you the one who pushed Sakura inside the storeroom and lock her in it," I said. Sakura looked at me in confusion because we didn't have any kind of video recording. I lied about it to push them into the corner without any means of escape. If Ryuen was here, he would see through my lies right away, that's why I asked Horikita and Ichinose to keep him busy.

My lied works, they become anxious and start whispering to each other, probably about what is the best course of action is for them. They have one option which is to call Ryuen.

"But if you want we can make a deal," I said giving them an easy way out before they even consider calling Ryuen.

"What deal?" They asked. Their desperation is clearly showing on their faces.

"If you take back your case against me, we will not take any action against you. I think that's a fair deal," I said. They both looked at each other. Looks like I need to push them even more.

"Decide now. If not, then we going in," I said.

"Stop, stop..... We take your deal but you have to guarantee that she would not report us to the school," They said.

"Don't worry, as long as you keep your end of the bargain she will not report you, right Sakura?" I asked. She only nodded her head.

"But if you break your promise, remember you will go down with me," I warned them. After some time students from class C take back their complaints against me.

"Sorry, Sakura because of me you can't complain about them even though they caused you a lot of trouble," I said.

"It's alright, Ayanokoji-Kun. Because of that, I was able to repay you for your help," She said. I wonder if she would do the same even if she didn't have to repay for my help. Probably yes. For some time we silently walk towards the school building where we going to meet Horikita.

Even we got there and meet up with Horikita, she fills in what happened with Ryuen. So basically he was playing with me this time, now he got the taste of what it's like play with me, I'm sure he going to come after for real very soon.
