That intro should be familiar to any Creature Feature fan. The very first line of one of the most popular songs we've released. It's not a surprise why it's so popular, really. A Gorey Demise is a fun little song that briefly walks you through each of the tragedies that have occurred that year. But have any of you ever wondered to yourselves: "Are any of these unfortunate events actually based on reality?" If you've questioned it, I like your sense of curiosity. If you haven't, then hopefully this has sparked your interest. Whether you originally intended to find the answer or not, indeed the happenings were based on true events, events that took place throughout my childhood.
