A baby cub and his mother was what I saw. He seemed to have a very strong connection with her. He'd follow her around everywhere, taking whatever chance it could to hug her and show her how much he appreciated her love. Nothing can get in the way of the strong and endearing bond between a mother and her offspring. Or, so it seems. The bond could easily be shattered if she were to give birth to a replacement. The cub grew up and started to act rebellious, terrorizing the other animals in the forest for fun and sport. The mother didn't appear happy about her cub's behavior, and their relationship started to grow apart. The mother neglected her cub more and more, and in a dangerous cycle the cub took out all of his anger on the little animals, including his childhood friend, a gray cub. Mother got very angry after the gray cub's parents told her that her cub was teasing theirs, and was upset for good reason. After a fight, the mother bear hit her kid in a fit of anger. Enraged and heartbroken, the cub stormed off into the forest for days, and only returned because he was found and returned to his mother. Their relationship hung in the balance for many months, and was only poisoned more by a sibling being born. The mother refused to pay any attention to her first cub, as if disowning him. The newborn sister was the lightning rod of all the mother's affection, and the first cub was neglected year after agonizing year. Every mention of his sister resulted in him lashing out at any target unfortunate enough to be within range. One day, when the brother cub was older, he was left alone with his sister by the mother when she left to find food. What did the brother bear do after the sister bear annoyed him?

... He snapped and pushed her into the backyard pool.
