Finally!

After a very long day of emotional roller coasters that seemed to culminate in a HUGE pack dinner. When I say huge I mean it. We didn't eat in the dining room because it wasn't big enough to hold everyone instead we ate in the ballroom! I didn't even know we had one but apparently we do it even has a raised dais at the far end like what I read about in medieval times. It was on this platform that a huge table was set that the Alpha families were seated at. I felt so out of place dressed up in a fancy gown (that thankfully Selene had bought for me) but only until both Nick and Nate kissed me. They officially introduced me to the pack as the future Luna and the cheering was deafening. But the love was overwhelmingly beautiful.

Now that Maddie was tucked into bed with hugs, kisses and bedtime stories from both her Daddy and her Papa we walked across the hall to our room. Nick and Nate each opened a door for me and I walked through. As soon as I heard the door close behind me the feeling in the room shifted.

I paused mid step and turned ever so slowly to see my mates standing in front of the doors looking like they wanted to eat me up. Their eye colors swirling blue and gold was the only clue I have that their wolves are at the surface. I don't know what made me so bold it could've been the knowledge that I was their Mate, their Luna and I knew they wouldn't actually hurt me or it could have been that I was really freaking horny. Whatever the cause I thought it was time to have a little fun.

"What do we have here? I see Kol and Rune want to come out to play." I practically purr at them while tilting my head to the side exposing my neck not in a submissive way more in an offering way.

"Jemma." Nate growls his eyes are definitely more gold than blue at this point. "You have no idea what it's taking for us to hold them back." He looks like he's straining.

"What if I don't want you to hold back?" I ask cheekily.

I was half expecting them both to, I don't know, pounce on me or something but instead their eyes turned completely gold as they lazily leaned back against the doors.

Kol turned to Rune and said "It really is a shame brother." as his voice sounded like Nick's but deeper more gravely, a sound I felt in the marrow of my bones. His eyes tracked back to me as he licked his lips sending a shiver cascading down my form.

"What's a shame?" I ask unable to keep the tremor from my voice. I'm not scared, far from it, I'm excited.

Rune turned to Kol, "You're right brother it really is a shame." His voice had the same effect on me that Kol's did. He shook his head slightly as his eyes tracked back to me.

My heart is beating slightly faster in anticipation. I didn't move, I just stood there watching them as their eyes rake up and down my body adding to the delicious tension in the room.

"Again, what's a shame?" I ask putting my hands on my hips.

They pushed off the door and started stalking me. That's the only way to describe their slow deliberate movements. They were the hunters and I was their prey.
