Once he came to his classroom, the noise was scattered all over the room. It was filled with conversations, screaming, and a bunch of more talks coming from his classmates that added noise pollution. Tanjiro ignored it and decided to sit on a chair that was in the front beside the wall, which was the closest to the door. He opened his book and decided to study in the meantime, he was an A+ student in his last grade making him the top student of the class. The clock was ticking, minutes pass by until the homeroom teacher shows his appearance as he walks to the front, making him the center of attention.

"Chat time is over, now listen to me." The teacher said strictly and coldly as he hits the teacher's desk, making the students flinch and give their attention towards him. Once all the students paid attention to him, he made an introduction. "I'm Tomioka Giyu, I will be your homeroom teacher for this school year." He said as he crossed his arms. "Some of the students here in this class were absent yesterday, meanwhile, most of you came in late." He stated, making Tanjiro slightly surprised. "Only about 6 students came in early before the ring bell, while there are about 15 students in this class." He said with a slight irritation in his tone. Tanjiro sighed in relief, he was glad to know that he wasn't the only one who was absent on the first day." didn't have a proper introduction yesterday, so let's repeat in. Properly, this time." He announced, making the students nod and agree.

"Now students, please introduce yourself and say something about yourselves or whatever." he added, with a monotone voice. "Starting from the student from the back, go on."

Before the student could stand up and speak a word, the classroom door opened so suddenly. The door opened widely showing the presence of a female student.

"Goo...Goodmorning.!" She exclaimed while she runs out of breath.
She took all of the attention, making her the center of attention of all the present students in the class, "I apologize if I'm... Late." She inhaled and exhaled in repeat, having exhaustion. Perhaps she was running on her way. Once she showed her appearance, Tanjiro stared at her with squinted eyes, gazing at her features.

Giyu sighed, "Alright, You're excused, Kanao. however, don't run through the hallways, or else I'll tell your sister." Kanao nodded respectfully, "Understood." She said as she passed Tanjiro's seat. Tanjiro looked at her with a tint of a scowl in the corner of his eyes as she passes him. - Kanao, huh. - he said in his thoughts. Kanao then sat at a desk that was just right behind him since it was the only free seat.

The Introduction begins, each student stands up as they introduce their selves. The sun from the windows began to bring light into the room, causing the room to become a little brighter than before. Time passes by as different periods of subjects changes.

Since the school day was over, students started sprinting on their way outside the school. Except for a few students who were more interested in staying in the school for a while, just like Tanjiro. He didn't feel like going home since nothing cures his boredom there. Instead, he decided to stay in the library to read books to overcome his boredom. The library was silent and peaceful, only the steps of a few students were heard when they were checking out the shelves. Now, the curious Kamado is glancing at each book on the shelves, trying to search for a book that amuses his interest. Suddenly, he stopped walking in the middle of a shelf of books when he identified a novel that was familiar to him. It seemed like a continuation of a novel that he read a few months ago. He widen his eyes as soon he recognized it, - What? I never knew this had a continuation... - he said through his mind as he stares at the book that was still on the shelf. The moment he went to grab it, a different hand appeared, who was about the grab the book as well, causing his hand to touch the feminine hand instead of the novel.

He flinched as he puts his hand away, along with the other girl beside him who also moved her hand away from the book. Tanjiro recognized her features, "Y-you again?!" He exclaimed in a loud voice, wearing an annoyed expression with a mix of surprise. Kanao looked at him with confusion, "What do you mean me again? I never met you..." She said with a raised brow. Tanjiro wore an unbelievable face "Wow, never met she said." He said as he rolled his eyes, Kanao at him with dirty eyes, "What's your big deal? You're... You're so grumpy." She looks at him from toe to head. Kanao grabbed the novel that was still on the shelf. "Nope, I'll be taking that." He said with bitterness as he swiftly snatched the book from her hands and lift it high. "H-hey! Give it back!" She said with annoyance as she tries to reach it, but Tanjiro was taller, making it difficult to reach the book. "I've been finding it for approximately... Th-three hours!" She stutters, still trying to reach the novel. "No you didn't, I found it first!" Tanjiro argues back as his face expressed displeasure as he raises the novel higher. The people at the library who witnessed and heard them looked at them with a grimace, annoyed by the loud voices they did. "No, you didn't!" She shouted. "Oh, yes I did!" He shouted back.

"Give it back!" She argues as she jumps, trying to reach the book.

"I found it first!" He argues back as he lifts it higher.

"Give it!"

"No!"

"I said give it!"

"I said no!"

"What's with all this commotion?"

Two flinched and looked over to the owner of that voice.

"S-sir Tomioka!" Both of them exclaimed in sync with the same expressed surprised faces as Tanjiro lowers his arm while Kanao stopped jumping. Giyu was standing behind them with crossed arms. Panic rises to them both as their adviser looks at them both as he sighed heavily. "Follow me outside. Let's talk." He stares at both of them with a strict voice as he puts his arms down and walks his way outside the library. The two looked at each other with furrowed brows, as they continue to follow him.
