He slowly crept up behind her with the sharpened silver blade in his fist. As he got closer he could hear her sharp breaths. In a quick motion he sliced her throat so deeply she couldn't even draw a breath. She collapsed onto the ground with a loud thump.
A quick moment later her body went limp, the shimmer of life faded from her eyes, her body growing colder.
As she lay there blood oozing from her neck, lifeless, he lay a rose in her hand. Then he swept away into the cold air of the night leaving her behind.
