|chapter 1|

The assassin

A matt black Lamborghini pulls into an alleyway with a faint rap song in the background. As it comes to a stop at a fence, the driver's side window rolls down and an arm extends out placing a device on the metal pole connecting the two fences, the arm then goes back into the car and the window rolls back up.

The black car backs out of the driveway and parks at the back of an old building. The door to the front seat of the car opens and a woman no older than 21 hopes out, as she closes the door to the car she opens the back seat door where there is a 3 year old German shepherd, her best friend, Zeus.

"Stay here Zeus, I'll be back in 20" she grabs her duffle bag which has all her guns and tech and closes the door making sure the windows have a gap for air, for Zeus.

The girl with her duffel bag makes her way up the ladder on the side of the building until she reaches the top. She's secured a rope to a set of metal bars on the other side of the building for a quick getaway. Once the rope is secure she makes her way to the other side of the building sitting comfortably near the top as she phones her hirer.

"Hey this is the terminator for your rat problem you called about. My accounts looking a little thin" she says getting straight to the point as soon as they picked up

"No-one gets paid until what needs to get done gets done" They reply

"Nope that's not the rules, no money, no honey"

She looks at the alley way and see 3 cars, 2 police, 1 Range Rover. "Oh here's your boy now" she says as like 20 people get out of the cars "with about 20 of his new best friends" her eyes scan the alley again making sure everything is in place.

Her eyes move from the alley to her phone "I'm still seeing zeros"

"Babies not be cute until you do your job"

"Oh, they're taking him out of the car now, in about 30 seconds your window is going to close forever" she persuades

"Okay okay relax! there was an accounting error, we sent it"

She looks at her account and sees a million dollars just dropped in, shs smirks "now double it for being a dickhead, you got 10 seconds"

"We are not the kind of people you play with"

"Did you just threaten me, this dude is going to get a sore throat from all the singing he's about to do"

"You son of a bitch" she hears a ding and sees 2 million in her account

"Pleasure doing business with you, Angie" she hangs up on him as she stands up from her spot and turns to aim her gun at the dive she set up before with perfect accuracy. The bullet bounces off the device and shoots her target in the back of the head.

She grabs her duffel bag and uses the rope she set up beforehand to get away and descend down the building. As she gets back to her car she puts her duffel bag on the back seat and says hi to Zeus.

She pulls away from the curb and starts driving mumble the song that is playing in the car. "Guess who's back, back again" as she's about to come up to the roundabout that will get her back to her house Zeus barks

"Yes" she sees him looking at something in the rear view mirror. So she trunks her head to wear what he is looking at. A little girl getting dragged down the street by two men. She pulls over and gets out, making sure to grab a gun that's loaded.

"Come on Zeus" she lets him out of the car deciding to take Zeus with her. They make their way across the street and follow them to an alleyway where they hear "let me go" and "stop". She goes into the alleyway and sees two men roughly grabbing her. She only looks about 7.
