Guys seriously. Please stop telling me to update. I'm trying really hard, but I'm running 2 accounts, 5 insta accounts, 2 tumblr, 2 quotev, and 1 twitter. I'm busy with homework and stressing over my grades. I love all of my readers, but I can't always put my writing first. Especially since I'm writing 1000 other stories n shit, and I've been drawing a lot. AND IM REDECORATING MY ROOM. (Homestuck style whoop whoop)
SO HERES YOUR WELL DESERVED UPDATE!!!!
--------------------------------------------
Percy fell down, a muffled scream emitting from his pursed lips. He looked around, seeing thousands of monsters making their way to halfblood hill. People grabbed their weapons and stared at Percy confused. How had the arrow made it through to him? shouldn't the barrier of stopped it? Unless Zeus suddenly cut off all communication again and made the barrier Go bye-bye, there's no reason it should have struck Percy.
One Hermes camper came running over and dumped a gallon of water over Percy's head, ripping the arrow out of his shoulder and shoving ambrosia into his mouth, then sprinted off to the front line.
Okay then?
He stood up, holding his sword and twirling it in his hand. He loved Annabeth and was worried about her, but she was a big girl and could take care of herself. He had to worry about the army heading his way. He ran down to the front line. People commented on the amount of blood around his shoulder, but he shrugged them off, ordering then to worry about the army.
Thank god for the Romans and Greeks getting along now; the once dwindling amount demigods in CHB had officially grown, 3 times the original size. ( maybe not that much but you know, a lot )
He barked orders around, everyone listening in closely and doing what was asked. He knew how to fight in wars, and he definitely knew how to stop them.
The Athena children were taking orders from Malcolm, wondering were their cabin leader had gone. They did just, after all, see her running towards them.
Grover stumbled through a hoard of demigods, a stuttering mess by the time he made it to Percy. "Percy. Where...wheres Annabeth? we could use her right now"
"Yeah, because I didn't think of that. I don't know man. She was right here. She just, disappeared"
Grover swore in ancient greek, let out some disgruntled goat bleets, then ran off to go check on some nature spirits, including juniper.
- time skip haha -
(A/N this is just because I really don't want to write about a battle. It's difficult okay? and I'm tired. And bored. Idk)
Almost everyone was hurt, and only half of the starting amount was still in fighting shape. Percy was helping a few minors, around the age of 13, fight a Cyclopes. One was thrown to the side, their back making impact with a tree. they fell limp to the ground, unmoving. Percy growled and let out his inner killer and threw himself at the cyclopse, getting much more air then he had planned on. when he realize he was floating he looked over at his left to see a certain son of Jupiter also floating with a smug smirk.
"Take 'em down big boy. I got the kid" and he dropped, running over to help the child. Percy took a tentative step forward, feeling the air form solidly underneath him.
"Okay I'll admit, this is pretty cool" then he charged, stabbing the Cyclopes in the eye, then dragging his sword down its chest. Maybe it was a little violent, but hey, he was kinda pissed off.
He landed on the ground with an ungraceful 'THUMP' then took off running again.
-time skip again idk FML-
It's been three days since the battle, and Camp Half-Blood was finally returning to its usual schedule. Apollo campers and Ares campers were fighting, Hephaestus campers we throwing tiny machines at the Hermes kids that blew up when they sensed Co2 ( which was funny actually. Someone was finally fighting back ) and Aphrodite children were gossiping about some nature spirits choice of clothing.
But Percy wasn't really concerned about that. What he wanted to know is why his goddamn girlfriend still hasn't show up.
Finally, becoming more frustrated then when he tried to do calculus homework, he snuck out of camp in Paul's Prius and drove to the Empire State Building, flipping off the front desk guy and grabbed the key, storming to the elevator and listened to ACDC play. Finally, something good. He pouted and angrily tapped his foot along to the music, waiting for the doors to open so he could accomplish what was needed.
He stomped up the roads, all the way, ignoring everyone's eyes as he made his way to the throne room, only to use water from a fountain about 1000 feet away to help open the large doors. He ran in, glaring at Hera, and shouted at her.
"YOU TOOK HER. YOU TOOK MY ANNABETH! GIVE. HER. BACK!" he pointed at her accusingly, and yeah, he knew the dangers of yelling at a goddess, but literally nothing more then Annabeths safety was of his concern right now.
"Now now Percy, let's not get to hast-"
"NO DAD. NO. SHE TOOK HER. AND I WANT HER BACK!" Percy glared at his father, whom was blow away by Percy's outburst. I'll admit it, (because the gods know he won't), Percy teared up a little.
"Perseus. Taking her was necessary for a plan all us gods formed. Even Athena agreed."
Percy whipped his head over in Athens direction and she raised her arms in defense. "Hey, I like this no more then you do sea scum."
"Athena he may be a boy, but he's pretty mad. I wouldn't make it worse" Hermes pointed out, glancing at Percy for a second, then moved his eyes back to the wisdom goddess.
Percy lowered his voice to a threatening whisper, walking forward a little bit. "If I don't get her back, you can count me out of this big plan of yours. If I don't get her back, you've just lost yourself a hero. So screw you! WHERE. IS SHE?" Percy's tears finally spilled over, understanding the anxiety and fear Annabeth must have felt at his absence too. But this was different. They escapes Tartarus together. He needed her. They haven't been separated in a very very long time. He needed Annabeth more then he wanted to admit.
He dropped to his knees, his face expressionless, but his heart sinking at a steady pace as he mind made up more and more horrible scenarios that Annabeth could be trapped in. He finally wiped his eyes, remaining on his knees, and with so much desperation in his voice whispered one word. "Please..."
He was sent away without another word. He was zapped back into camp, his head in his hands, still in the same position, in the middle of diner. Jason flew forward, dropping to his knees and trying to look at the sea gods child's face. It didn't work though. Percy wouldn't budge.
"Man. Gods, what's wrong? Annabeth?" Jason placed a reassuring hand on Percy's shoulder and then walked behind him, using the air to lift him up. Percy's legs unfolded and only his toes touched the ground. He moves his hands, everyone noticing the redness from crying. Chiron strode over, lifting Percy up and placing him on his back, then made his way down to the beach to talk to Percy.
And that entire time, he cried, without a care in the world, all worlds, that everyone was watching.
Because his Annabeth was gone. And he didn't appreciate that.
