2 years later,

Manik finished his MBA and learning their family business along with his mother. His day starts with usual routine and he keeps himself distance from people if not for business purpose. He sends an email to Nandini daily at night telling what all he learnt and what all he explored. He sheds tears to sleep, thinking about the time he spent in India.

The only place he smiles is his smileys in his mails and it took Nyonika to understand that her son has lost his smile long back. She clearly differentiated the smile he fakes in front of people and when he was with his friends 2 years back. She tried her best to make him happy with money but couldn't and she understood that neither distance nor time made Manik forget Nandini. She realized that she made a mistake of spoiling his son's life by misjudging Nandini. She gathered courage to tell him what has happened between her and Nandini.

Nandini got back to her college upon learning that Manik has taken transfer certificate and will not be continuing the next year. Her friends were shocked on hearing all the happenings. They tried their best to convince her to not to hurt her innocent baby in between all this mess. But she has decided on what to do. They finished the 2nd year and it was never normal or jovial like the previous year with Manik. Everyone missed him but they didn't contact him as per Nandini's promise.

Every single day, they all waited for a miracle to happen and to see the long lost smile on Nandini's face.

They got into jobs after the completion of MBA and hardly met once in a month though they stayed in the same city. Dhruv and Aliya feared that they too might lose each other if they don't confess about their feelings and they stepped into relationship and planned to marry 2 years later.

Since Mukthi and Aliya are more close to each other, Mukthi's track with Harshad was very easy as they can meet whenever they want. They spent time to get to know each other day by day.

One fine day,

Manik stood frozen when he heard his lovely mother that she accused the love of his life whom he loved unconditionally. She has hurt her even after knowing that he loved Nandini. He was in a dilemma whether to be angry or proud about Nandini. Angry because she took the whole decision of leaving him by herself and didn't inform him at least. Proud because she left not to create any misunderstanding between him and his mother since she knew how much he loves his mother.

He walked towards his mother who was sitting there with guilt ridden face. He cupped her face, wiped her tears and kissed her forehead and said "I love you Mom"

Tears trickled down hearing her son and before she could say anything, he left the room and asked the manager to book ticket for him to leave asap.

"Why...?? Why...?? Why...?? At least you could have told me...You could have talked to me...We would have taken this together...Why do you have to do this alone...?? Why do you have to push me into unanswered pool of questions...?? Why didn't I make a move and went to her home to check...?? Why did I believe to every single reason that I was said...?? How can I be this dumb in deciding that she was avoiding when I clearly know that she will not do anything without a reason...??" He had many questions to ask her and answer by himself but nothing came out of his mouth when he stood in front of her.

He straight away went to her house and asked her mother about her place of work.

"The day he comes back is the day his mother realised that he will be happy with his love and we truly loved him" Nandini said to her mother once.

Upon seeing Manik, her mother became happy to the core as her children will be having a happy life ahead. She gave him Nandini's office address and exactly after an hour, he was standing in front of her with heart full of questions and eyes full of tears.

Nandini gasped in surprise by seeing him and blinked her eyes more than twice to check if she wasn't dreaming. Both took steps towards each other while their eyes tried etching the memory.

They stood close to each other and Manik asked, almost in a whisper "Why...??"

All his questions died upon seeing her in real and she couldn't form a sentence to answer but said "I had to..."

He just hugged her tight, close to his heart and she reciprocated the hug by rubbing his back.

"Don't leave me..." He said in her ears like a baby.

"I won't..." She assured him while hugging him tighter.

He broke the hug after few minutes and cupped her face and said "I Love you"

She smiled at him and asked "Was this the one you wanted to say 2 years back...??"

He chuckled and nodded his head. She made a pout and said "Too late..."

"Oh really...??" He asked raising his eyebrows and pressed his lips on hers making her shock.

Once he broke the kiss, she said "I never knew my baby has this romantic angle..."

"You will explore it soon..." Manik replied with a wink and hugged her tight.
