Anika was a very sweet and bubbly natured girl. She was the only daughter of her parents. She and her senior, in college, Raunak were in love with each other. But Anika's parents arranged her marriage with the rich business tycoon Shivaay Sing Oberoi. His father died at his early age and he had to take over the business just after his education. He was very gentle and polite by nature. When Shivaay and his family came to see Anika, during a personal conversation, Anika told Shivaay everything regarding her relationship and pleaded her to cancel their wedding. Shivaay fall in love with her, the moment, he saw her, so he wanted some time to take decision. During the day of fixing their alliance, he didn't cancel the marriage for an unknown reason and when Anika enquired about it, he half lied her saying that because he loved her and his family was also very happy with this relation, he couldn't break the marriage in turn breaking their heart. Since,Anika couldn't speak in front of her parents, so she was bound to marry Shivaay.
Aftertheir marriage, she started hating Shivaay to the core of her heart. She alwaysused to behave very badly with him but was very dutiful daughter in law for hisfamily. Anika and Shivaay used to share a room like two strangers. Shivaaydidn't mind because he was in too much love with her and could do anything tomake her happy. So he used to tolerate everything, each and every ill-manneredattitude of Anika hoping that one day, Anika will accept him whole heartedly. Monthspassed but she didn't change her attitude towards him. One day, Anika insultedhim so badly and so mannerlessly like an animal, that he lost his temper andalso his patience and he committed the biggest crime ever by forcefullyconsummating their marriage. Shivaay was totally speechless of what he had donebut the damage was made. Anika was totally devastated and became totally silentwith the shock. She used to behave very strangely with everyone. One day, shefound that she was pregnant with Shivaay's child. It was too much for her tobear. She didn't tell anyone about her pregnancy and took the most hediousdecision of her life.
