Katie POV /First person

1 month earlier ~ Undisclosed location

A black bag was pulled from my head

I looked around

My hands were tied to the table in a dark room dimly lit by a single light bulb. Facing me was a man who was way older than he looks with jet black hair and a muscular build resulting from his line of work. This man was way past his retirement age in most jobs but this wasn't your average job.

"You could have just given me a phone call" I stated

"I take that into consideration the next time we need you" the man said and proceeded to open a folder and pushed it towards me

"Who is this?"

"You know the protocol until you accept the mission you can't ask questions" the man answered. I gently sighed knowing that I'm in for a rough adventure q'

"Who is this?" I said pointing at aa picture in the folder

"You know the protocol until you accept the mission you can't ask questions" the man answered

"Why should I accept this mission, every time I go for a mission and return, I need to spend my whole school break catching up on grades with constant tutoring, I just want to enjoy my school break like a normal teenager"

"We all know that's not happening anytime soon" the man stated

"Unless..............."

"Unless what?"

"You are MI6, can't you just hack into my school server and change my grades, and also get me into an Ivy League university then I will accept the mission"

"Are you bribing the British government"

"The question should be is the British government bribing ME" I replied trying to act smart

"You know that we can just find some other agent"

"Fine, then let me go"

"Wait, we will help you out but just this one time but I need to talk to my superiors first"

"Sure, when you are done talking to yourself let me know"

"So, do you accept this mission'

"I have no other choice you'll just blackmail me to accept, do you remember what happened in Malta"

"Okay, let me start debriefing you"

"Scoff"

"What"

I tried lifting my wrist to show him that I was still handcuffed to the table

"Later" the man said and continued talking

(June 7 1995)

"Sixteen years ago, a maiden flight of an Anglo-French Concorde took off from Paris with 41 passengers including the plane's staff and landed in London with 42 passengers. That's one extra passenger, where did she come from? we don't know. After the plane landed, we did some intensive investigations and found out this woman wasn't on the take-off flight" the man said and while gesturing towards the picture, I curiously observed the picture carefully, she somehow looked familiar.
