Vincent and I got in my car and started driving to the pricencent.
"Now that we don't have Gabe around and we don't have to worry about Mereifeld,maybe we could have that normal kind of life we always dreamed about."Vincent said
"Vincent I told you I don't need a white picket fence and a big rock on my finger to be happy."
"Fine."Vincent said with a sigh
"So, like I said at my apartment Heather is coming to town with her fiancé ..."I said but got interrupted by Vincent
"So you don't want me around."
"Vincent you know that I love you and you know that I always want you near me, but your face was on the front cover of the paper.It's for your safety."I spoke
"Catherine I'm fine, Muirfeild and Gabe are gone."Vincent spoke trying to reassure me
I can't let anything happen to him.Almost everything I do is to protect him,I don't know what I would do without him.He is honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me,and I love him with all of my heart.What he said didn't reassure me at all, if anything he sacred me more than anything.It scared me because he thought that it was okay to be outside in the open with eight million people that live in New York City.
"Catherine I am fine I can handle New Yor..." Vincent said in a soft voice but I interrupted him
"Oh look we're here!"I said trying to change the subject.
