Chapter 6

"What'd you find?" I asked feeling as if I already knew what he had found. 

"Achohol, in your bag, little bottles of them a-and a little baggie of pills." He spoke through the phone sounding a bit nervous.  

"Oh,  it was just um for the party you know, I was holding it for a friend." I responded woth the same tone as him. The twins looked at me suspiciously, Liv more than Jordan. 

Like she knew something... 

"Oh, um do you want me to drop your bag off, I threw out the bottles and pills already?" Asher asked not really believing me. 

"Um no- wait you threw it away? "  Getting a little irritated I clenched my fists, why would he do that. I need them. I love Asher with all my heart but it wasn't his place to throw my stuff away. 

"Yeah I just th-" Asher started to speak but was cut off.

"Why were you going through my bag anyway" I asked furrowing my eyebrows. "You know what forget it i'll just get it tomorrow." Hanging up before he got the chance to respond. 

"Who was that?" Liv and Jordan asked at the same time. Standing in front of me with both arms crossed like they were my parents or something. 

"Nosey much" I raised an eyebrow at them. Seriously everyone needs to mind their business. 

"Well I mean you looked like you were nervous so..." Liv said, as If she wanted a response from me. 

"I wasn't anyways goodnight" I said heading up the stairs quickly.

"Lani wait you know you can talk to us right?" Jordan said more as a question.

"Like you'd care" I said disapearing from their sight up the stairs.

The next morning

"Lani get up, it's time to go running" Liv said shaking me awake.

"Nooooo" I said into my pillow rolling around under my covers irritated.

"Come on you have to go anyway it's required for cheer and I wanna spend some time with you"  Liv said dragging me up. 

"Ugh fine, just get out i'm not wearing a shirt" I replied.

"Lani, you're my little sister?" Liv said as if that was normal. Which I mean it is for us but still. 

"Doesn't matter get out" Throwing a pilow at her as she leaves the room.

 I got up and got dressed in my workout clothes, and brushed my teeth. I put on a  cropped tank top, with biker shorts. As I made my way down the stairs I saw Liv sitting on the couch on her phone waiting for me. 

"Ready?" She asked standing up walking towards the door. 

"Mhhm" I grogily mumbled still not fully awake.

"Let's go" She said walking out the door.

"So, how've you been doing" Liv asked after 30 minutes of silent jogging.

"I'm ok" I said looking forward at the scenery. The waves crashing together in the ocean. Water flowing up on the front of the sand, dampening the sand as it did so. 

"Just ok?" She asked with a suspicious tone.

"Yes Liv, just ok" I said smartly. 

"I wanted to talk to you about something" Liv said sounding nervous.

"What?" I asked her catching a breathe after I did so. 

"Don't get upset with me ok?" She pleaded, before she even said what she needed to sat. Now i'm getting kind of upset.
