Beatrice Jones had been running from people since she was ten years old. Her mother had worked for the government at the time the mob had come to kill off the government. After that day she never saw her mother again. Her father had died to rogues a month after. Ever since they died she had learned how to fend for herself for if she did not learn how to survive she would have died. Beatrice would rob others to survive but not kill for then she would be just as bad as the rogues who killed her father. Today though she wasn't running from her past ,she was running for her future. Beatrice had made a mistake. She decided to pick a fight with the wrong person and now she was paying the price for her actions. She had accidentally picked a fight with the son of the biggest gangs in Willowcreek city. She soon heard from behind the gang's phrase that's always said before someone dies. for the blood creed!. She automatically moves to the left of the alleyway to avoid the knife that was thrown at her. She ran as fast as she could until she couldn't hear or see people anymore. Thank the sky, Beatrice thought to herself. It looked and seemed as if she lost them. She recognized the street she was on. If she walked two whole blocks she would be back at home. She knew if she took too long thinking that they would locate her again so she began her walk home. She was two minutes away from her house when she heard crying. It sounded like a baby. She ran towards the sound. She ran into an alley and nearly tripped on something. She looked down and was horrified to see a woman with a knife in her chest. The woman had brown hair, tanned skin and she was wearing a blue dress. Next to her was a baby wrapped up in blankets. The baby was crying. Beatrice leaned down to check the pulse of the lady. There was no pulse. Beatrice then observed the knife in her chest. it had the initials B.C. short for blood creed.  after cleaning the knife beatrice turned to pick up the baby. She started humming a lullaby for the baby and soon the baby had stopped crying and was fast asleep. she stood up and was about to begin walking home when she realized she didn't know where she was. she saw the end of the alley and decided to walk towards it believing that she would recognize the other side of the alley and find her way home. she soon realized that she had been incorrect. she had entered a part of the city she had never seen before. the place was covered with moss and plants . she soon came up to a wall covered with moss separating the neighbourhood she was in from the others. just as she was about to rip some of the moss off the wall a girl jumped off the wall right in front of her blocking beatrice from ripping the moss off the wall. the girl was wearing a hood and mask covering her facial features. who are you the girl asked slowly while narrowing her eyes. please don't hurt us beatrice cried out without thinking while hugging the baby. the girls eyes widened for a moment before saying to come with her. beatrice was scared and confused. in all of her life no one had ever just attacked her and then told her to follow them. they would normally just try and kill her because they either needed resources or just because they could. Well? are you coming or not the girl asked crossing her arms and glaring in Beatrice's direction. Not wanting to waste anymore of both hers and the girls time she began to follow the girl up the mossy wall while holding the baby close to her chest preparing herself for what she would see behind the wall.
