Hello! My name is Tomura. I am a co-host in the Glow System.

By chance, you may recognize my name. Yes, I am Tomura Shigaraki - Well, Tomura Aizawa now. I am an introject, a fictive to be more specific. I come from Boku No Hero Academia. I'll tell you a bit more about myself later down the line.

For now, I want to explain what you will see in this chapter. If you've ready the story's description, then you know we are an OSDD system. What does that mean exactly? Well, I guess I have to tell you.

Due to repeated childhood trauma, our brain developed in an odd way. It split and created different alternate identities. These alternate identities are often called alters, headmates, systemmates, and a few other things. For the most part, we'll be calling ourselves alters here. These alters were created to help the body cope with the trauma it was going through. Each alter plays a certain role in the system. Some of these roles have multiple people to them, some only have one or none at all.

Currently, as of 2 January 2022, our system has a total of 95 members.

Let me introduce you to a few people.

The Core

💔 Mia - She/her - Persecutor (Ex-host)

🤪 Tyler - He/him, they/them, zhei/zhim - Current Host, gatekeeper, age regressor

Silena - She/her - Dormant (Ex-host)

Sophie - She/her - Dormant (Ex-host)

🎮 HC - She/her, they/them, he/him - Ex-host, paichmate

Mia is the original host. She is the person this body was born as. She doesn't like talking about it much, but she is a "factive fusion". At some point, she integrated with a factive of an abuser of ours and took on a new name and role. This happened when we (the body) were four years old.

Silena, Sophie, and HC are all ex-hosts that split from Mia. Unfortunately, all three of them fell dormant after traumatic experiences. HC recently came out of dormancy for an unknown reason, but to our knowledge, we expect that Silena and Sophie will not return.

Tyler is our current host. He is the face of our system and the person we have to pretend to be when we're in public to protect us. Tyler also split from Mia and has been our host since 2019.

With those introductions, let me introduce you to, well, everyone else. Some of these names you may recognize, some you will not. I'll be sure to label who's an introject and who isn't. And I'll do this in alphebetical order so it's easier on me. (The emojis are the alters' proxies. They'll let you know who wrote which chapter.)
