Dear Diary,
Today I saw my former best friend Nathan. I thought childhood friends stay with you through thick and thin. However, that wasn't the case with us. As we grew older he started to become popular, and now he is one of the famous kids in our school.
Nathan and I eventually grew a part. I couldn't find fault with him. It all started when he got perfect teeth instead of braces, his chubby fat disappeared instead there was a perfectly toned body with chiseled face to match.
He started getting attention from everywhere. For him, it was uncomfortable at first but as he got used to it, he started behaving in a way which he deemed appropriate to maintain his so called popularity.
Nathan is good at heart underneath all that facade. Or maybe he has turned into such a nuisance. An all rounder one at that.
Anyways seeing him today left a bitter taste in my mouth. He is not what he used to be neither am I, though I still miss the friendship that we had.
Wish things could be different.P.s I've send out applications for colleges today.
P.p.s The day went well.
That's all for today.
With love,
Ella
