My Long Lost Brother: Glanea's Short Story

a long time ago, I grew up in an orphanage one of the head sisters which we called Mother Superior named me Sierra.

As I turned 7 I asked Mother Superior about my birth parents, but she said I was left at the doorstep.

{Present}

I'm Glanea Noreen, I am adopted by Giselle Noreen and Greg Noreen. I studied at Acranea High School, I met two girls at school Meilyn Sanchez and Isla Serene, we became friends since 6th Grade. Mei-Mei invited us to her house, Isla and 2 unknown boys were there. "Mei-Mei who are they?" I asked "Oh so rude for me not to introduce these two guys," she said.

"This is Kyle my cousin, and Killian my best childhood friend" Mei continued. after hours of watching movies, we played a game we kinda tell about ourselves. Killian started telling his story. " when I was born my mom said I wasn't just her only son she said that I have a twin sister but someone took her from the hospital, dad said one of the nurses kidnapped her, but there wasn't any proof. Until now I'm searching for her, Karsyn where ever you are, I will find you." Killian said. 

After Killian It was my turn. "well, actually I grew up with my foster parents, I don't exactly know who my real parents are but I want to find them."

I didn't say that much cuz nothing happened bad but all I want is to meet my real parents. 

6 months passed Killian and I became close friends.

Mei-mei and Killian are dating. while for me still searching for my Parents. I remember Mei-Mei said that if I could be Killian's sister. 

I've been thinking what if Killian is my brother well Killian and I have lots in common and we also talk a lot. the next day Mei-Mei called me to meet her at the mall.

I saw Killian and Mei-Mei together and I have no idea where she's taking us. 

After walking around the mall we arrived at the Clinic Mei-Mei gave us a DNA test

( she's the one doing the test cuz she's a junior worker in this clinic). As Mei-Mei returned to see us she was crying and gave us the results.

it was positive Killian is my twin Brother "Yes! thank you so much M, you helped me find my twin sister. I can't believe that my sister was my close friend all the time." Killian said with tears in his eyes. After 2 days Giselle and Greg cried cause I found my birth parents.

A few days passed after the DNA test I told my foster parents about it and we all said goodbyes, but I promised them that I will visit them on weekends.

 I left home and went to Killian's House, Mei-Mei was there and my birth parents we waiting for me.

3 years later

I went to visit my foster parents and bid my forever goodbye, because my real parents said that we will be moving to London and there we will stay, tho we can visit back for vacation.

"Ohh, Glanea we will miss you so much," Giselle said with a cracked voice.

"Sweetie here take this box so it will remind you of us, you can only open it when you have questions, understand?" Greg said while handing out a royal blue box designed with stars.

"Thanks, Giselle, Greg. I should be going now, I'll call ya later when we get there!" I said while walking away.

    It took us 9 hours to arrive at the London Heathrow Airport. We took a private car that Dad hired to drive us, the driver took us to a big mansion. As we arrived at the mansion we all settled in.

"Karsyn, this will be your room, just tell me if you need anything okay sweetie?" mom said and held my shoulder, I nodded in response.

"Glanea, are you already used to being called Karsyn?" Mei-mei asked in curiosity. yes obviously she's with us cuz she's my brother's girlfriend and my brother is planning something after a few weeks which he hasn't told me yet.

"I'm kinda used to it already," I answered.

4 months passed and I'm working as a Model with my Mom as my Manager, while my brother is The CEO of our own Company along with his secretary/girlfriend.

"Sis, I need you to lure Mei, to the park and pretend that you'll go to the restroom." my brother Killian said.

I nodded in response and went to Mei's room and knocked twice as she let me enter her room I invited her to go with me to the park.

"I would love to, just give me a second." said while rushing through her closet. She was wearing a purple floral dress. 

we arrived at the Park, it was beautiful no one was around the park but only Mei and me. I received a text message from Killian.

from Killian 9:00 pm

'Sis time for you to leave Mei and wish me luck.

I turn my screen off and started doing what my brother asked me. "Mei I-I'm going to the restroom for a while, wait for me there okay?" I said, she nodded in response.

I hid behind the pillar and there I saw my brother walking behind Mei, he was holding a bouquet of red roses which was Mei's favourite flower, I can hear my brother since I'm 1 meter away from them.

"Hey there beautiful, mind if I sit beside you and give you these flowers?" my brother said with a sweet tone of voice.

"Sure," Mei answered with a sweet smile.

My brother stared at the sky for a moment and faced Mei, he face her with a sweet but serious look.

"Meilyn Sanchez, you are the most beautiful person I have ever met, I have known you for a very long time now, but us being Boy/girlfriend, it won't make you mine permanently. HE said while grabbing her hands and held them, I think I am catching up to what my brother was planning. "Meilyn Sanchez, Will you Marry me?" he said, knelt on one knee and grabbed something from his pocket which was a ring. 

"YES!" Mei answered cheerfully with tears dripping from her face.

3 years passed and I'm living a happy life with my family, my brother got married to my best friend, not to mention I have a nephew. Well, this ends my short story I hope you enjoy it, see you on the next journey.
