I was panting trying to find Zenitsu somewhere around school, the student council. I sighed and continue to run down the hallways, I wasn't running too fast nor too slow. I made my way towards the garden and saw him there, reading a book.
Tanjiro : "Ha..hah.."
He flinched as soon as he heard me panting heavily. He then sighed and looked over towards me.
Zenitsu : "Were you running?"
Tanjiro : "Erm.. no..?"
Zenitsu : "You suck at lying."
'Ouch.' I mean, he has a point. I walked over to him and sat down on the bench with him while he looked over with a smile.
Zenitsu : "So why were you in a rush?"
He said and I paused for a spilt second. I looked down and blushed a bit, I was suppose to be confessing today. I was about to answer but instantly stayed quiet.
Zenitsu : "Tanjiro?"
Tanjiro : "I- well.."
I mumbled and he looked back confused.
Zenitsu : "If it's serious we could talk it out later-"
I cut him off by giving him a small peck on his lips. He looked back with widen eyes while I looked down and sighed.
Tanjiro : "Do you understand now..?"

I looked up and saw him got up and looked away from me.
Zenitsu : "Tanjiro, I'm not into guys and you should have known that."
Zenitsu : "That was.. disgusting."
I stayed still and watched as he walked towards the gate and went back inside of the school, covering his mouth. I gripped my arms tightly and looked down. 'Disgusting..?' Was the first thing that came to mind. He found me disgusting. I bit my bottom lip and allowed the tears to go down my cheeks.

ɴᴏ ᴏɴᴇ'ꜱ ᴘᴏᴠ.
It was now spanish class. Everyone was listening to the teacher, except two people. Tanjiro just had his head down in between his arms, he was heartbroken. Not only that he got rejected, he was rejected in a harsh way. He understand why Zenitsu didn't like him but he never knew he would have been that rude.
The other person was Nezuko, she was just quietly watching her brother. She sits next to him and knew what happened but kept it only between her and Tanjiro. She hated seeing him so upset.
It only took a few more minutes until the bell finally rang. School was now over, before Tanjiro could get up and pack his bags his sister ran over towards him and tapped his shoulders.
Tanjiro : "..What is it?"
She didn't say anything, just quickly helped him pack up and began to drag him out of the class.
Tanjiro : "Nezuko..! slow down-!"
He yelled out and she continued to drag him out of the school. Once she let go she pointed over towards a nearby ice cream truck. They usually come by in the afternoons.
Tanjiro : "Oh, so that's why?"
Nezuko : "You were upset and I wanted to at least cheer you up.."
He smiled at her and patted her head.
Tanjiro : "..I'm fine."
Nezuko : "You know everyone knows that you are a terrible liar."
Tanjiro : "..Well damn."
She laughed and ran towards the truck. Tanjiro followed along but before he did he saw Zenitsu. Walking out of the school, talking to someone else. He just looked at them a bit and realized Zenitsu was blushing. He just watched and sighed.
Nezuko : "Cmon!"
He looked over towards her and ran towards truck. She had already bought ice cream for them both. Chocolate, basic but tasty.
Tanjiro : "Thank you.."
Nezuko : "No big deal, cmon cheer up."
Nezuko : "Inosuke said he'll be joining us."
Tanjiro : "Well where is he now?"

Nezuko : "There."
She said and pointed over towards a nearby pond. Tanjiro covered his mouth as he tried to hold in his laughter. Why? This fucker was yelling at a tree.
Tanjiro : "What did the tree do to make him that angry?"
Nezuko : "..It's Inosuke, he would just pick a fight with literally anything."
He laughed. Suddenly he heard someone called out his name. He looked over towards them and just stayed quiet.
Zenitsu : "Tanjiro, can we talk?"
He looked away feeling awkward while Nezuko just shook her head no.
Nezuko : "No."
Zenitsu : "I said Tanjiro, not Nezuko."
He said in an annoyed tone. Nezuko had a visible vein on her head. She then looked over towards Tanjiro.
