Ch. 5 // B.b.e

"So, youre telling me, that you will now work as an assistant for a very hot guy with amazing eyes and youll start tomorrow?"

"Pretty much. Im so excited I can literally punch you right now,"

"Shut up, Bitch!" she said giggling on the other line.

While we were laughing and talking, someone knocked on my door.

"Oop. Someones at the door, wait a minute Ally,"

I opened my door to see Elena gesturing to my moms office.

"Ma'am Emily, she needs your attention,"

I nodded and told Ally Ill be back.
I have been called literally 2 times by my parents today. I DID NOT DO ANYTHING BAD PEOPLE.

"Elena said you needed me?"

I said softy opening the glass door. I was greeted by a very cold air. Whoo. Chills.

"First of all, what happened to your leg?" She said looking at my wound intently.

"Nothing to worry about. I fell while pennyboarding," I said shrugging.

She just rolled her eyes playfully at me. Sometimes my mom has this attitude of not taking things too much, and taking things too much.

Its why I love her.

"Anyway, seat down please,"

I sat on one of the big chairs and it was the most comfortable thing.

"I heard you landed a job on the sis company?" she said looking at me, smiling.

"Yep! For a guy named Louis Tomlinson. We met earlier today. He helped me with this," I pointed to my leg.

"Thats so sweet of him. Anyway, why ask for a job? Are you tired of being with us?"

"No mom, not at all. I just wanna be prepared before I shoulder a very big business. I hope you understand,"

"Oh, honey. I understand. Are you gonna go with us everyday? Or are we gonno go before you?"

"I dont really know where the company is, I might come with you tomorrow,"

She nodded and I returned to my room. Im not really in the mood to talk to anyone, so I just took my Selection novel.

You may not know this, but I absolutely obsess over books. Especially John Green's and Nicholas Sparks'.

I sat on the desk in the right corner of my room and read my book with some music playing in the background.

My eyes were feeling heavy so I quickly closed the book. I was about to jump to my bed but I realized I still didnt have dinner!

I asked for food and Destiny, one of the maids, served me with some coke, pasta, a side of mash potatoes and a mango tart.

I ate in silence and after I finished, I knocked on my door three times. Signaling I was finished eating.

A maid entered and cleaned the leftovers and turned the airconditioner in maximum.

I wrapped myself in a blanket and slept happily.

*Next Day*

I woke up at 6 oclock, getting ready by having a shower and changing into a black pencil skirt and white blouse. I brought my handbag with me and I wore some black pumps.

I straightened my hair and it was almost touching my butt. I pulled it and placed it at my right shoulder, so it would not cover my back.

I dont really put make up so I just added a little more eyeshadow and mascara with light lipstick.
