EPILOGUE
I’m on the way home for Christmas vacation. My beautiful girlfriend is waiting for me and I’m so excited to see her after months and months of waiting. Our only communication was on the phone or online conversation but it still feels different when you’re with the person physically.
She’s graduating next year and she told me that she’ll try her best to pass the exam at the same University I’m staying at so we would be together.
I arrived in front of our house and nothing really changed except for the Christmas Decorations. I grabbed my bags and rang the doorbell.
“He’s here!” I heard my mom shout inside. She opened the door and pulled me in for a hug.
“Hi mom.” I missed her.
“Where’s everybody? Akala ko may Christmas Party?” I don’t see anyone except my mom and Sarah’s mommy inside the living room.
“Welcome home Matteo.” her mom said hugging me.
“Where’s Sarah?” I asked.
“Oh she’s out with Lloyd. She’s helping him bring the food here.” With Lloyd?
Okay.
“Why don’t you put your things upstairs first? Go.” Mom said.
I did what she said and as soon as I opened the door I got a pleasant surprise.
“MATTEO!” Sarah jumped unto me and hugged me for joy. So it was a surprise?
“I thought you were with Lloyd”
“Niloloko ka lang ni Tita. Hahaha I missed you.” She kissed me on my lip and what the hell I missed this so much. I kissed her back.
“E-ehem.” Mom was at the door.
“You can continue your own private party after our Christmas Party downstairs.” She scolded.
“Sorry mom! Namiss ko lang. And I’m not doing a private party.” I said in shock. What is my mom thinking?!
Sarah laughed.
“Let’s go downstairs.” We followed mom and saw Lloyd and his parents coming inside the house. He greeted me with a smile.
“Welcome home bro.” He said.
“Glad to be home.”
“Merry Christmas.” Lloyd looked the same. Sarah told that Lloyd is moving to the US to study.
