Why the hell was she even awake? The sun wasn't even up yet, and the moon's light barely shinned though the closed curtains, so why was she even up? It was pointless to be losing hours of sleep when it comes to a school night, especially, when it comes to a math test. Was she overthinking things, like normal? Or was it the fact the she couldn't keep a certain delinquent out of her thoughts.
Bingo.
Rindo, Haitani the youngest of the two raided her thoughts as if he were to be a leach, never leaving her alone even if she blasted her music loudly through her earbuds, he would always find a way to crawl back into her mind. It annoyed her, it made her want to rip the hairs out of her head, it simply made her want to throw herself off a building, and yet a particular sentence would always stop her from doing so; "he may be a handful, but he really does love you y/n...just give him some time." She hated the fact that Ran's words lingered in the back of her mind, she wanted to erase every single damn memory she had with those two, she wished that she had never met them, but then again how could she wish something so ill when those two were nothing but there for her.
She was in a battel of emotions, not knowing if she wanted to hate them, or love them. All of it confused her to the point where she wanted to hide from them, lock herself away until she could figure something out. As horrible it might sound, it was the only plan that she could come up with. Pulling, her knees up to her chest, her dull colored eyes shifted to the sleeping Haitani. His features covered in bandages and painful looking bruises, while his blonde and blue locks drooped over his black eye. She remembered seeing him and his brother covered in red, their knuckles drooled with someone else blood, as they laughed away, simply talking about the event that only happened a few moments ago.
The brothers knew that y/n was their safe spot, patching them up after ruff fights, getting them out of trouble when the authorities would show up, and simply lying for them. They trusted their heart and soul to her, they would basically do anything for her, but what they didn't know was with all of their acts, the girl that they trusted the most was slowly breaking apart from them.
Y/n snapped from her thoughts, witnessing Rindo shift in his sleep, his black shirt slightly exposing his tattoo as he rolled himself onto his stomach. He looked so peaceful when he isn't causing havoc on the streets of Roppongi. A sigh slipped from her lips, her hand running through his hair, with a simply fuck you repeating itself over and over again in her head. Maybe it was time for her to step back from everything, catch her breath, possibly recollect herself. He won't know that she disappeared, right?
Rindo was a heavy sleeper anyways, so he shouldn't notice anything until the sun comes up. Slowly, removing herself from the bed that they shared, she snuck around the room packing a small travel bag. She left bad for leaving the younger Haitani and she knew that Ran would be rather upset about her actions on his little brother, but somethings just had to be done, and this was one of them.
She was scared, her mind overflowing with thoughts of what might happen when she leaves his side. She knew all to well that Ran will easily find out, and go looking for her, but she was more worried about Rindo's actions. What would he do when he finds out that she never came home after school? The urge of wanting to go back to the bed and curl up next to him was tough for her to fight off, but wanting to heal was something more important to her. Placing her hand on the doorframe, she looked away from him, "I'm sorry Rindo..." She whispered, rushing her away out of their apartment, simply not knowing where she was gonna go next.
