Like a ray of sunshine,
like a drop of rain.
You brought joy into my life;
and give meaning to my existence.
Life is full of surprises,
I often hear people say.
You're a heaven sent from God,
that I wouldn't dare say nay.
Your smile is like a ray of light.
Your butterfly kisses are my sweetest delight.
In your small, frail arms my trouble disappears.
And your endless chattering is music to my ears.
You truly are, our Precious One.
Sent from above like a radiating sun.
From this day onward, I promise you.
I'll stay by your side forever through.
