You shuffle to your closet and pull out your bright red velvet dress. It's festive and you feel pretty when you wear it. You smile, glancing at it from a different angle in the mirror across your room before taking it off the hanger and carefully slipping it on. You smoothen the velvet fabric before standing up and slipping into your heels. The heels weren't too tall, but they gave you the perfect height. You grab your purse, coat, and keys, and lock the door before stepping out.
