I watched with a smile on my face from the dense tree line as the black SUV drove away with Olivia and the young Alpha.
I hope she figures out who and what she is soon. The visions have started, and she must start looking for the others soon. I thought to myself.
Every bone in my body hopes they learn the truth before it's too late. If he escapes and the war comes, and the girls aren't prepared, or worse... they don't find each other at all, we're all as good as dead.
Despite that fact, the relief I felt seeing my granddaughter safe fulfilled my purpose for coming here after hearing about the attack by the Nova Sanction. I sighed in relief before teleporting to the packhouse.
I hid in the shadowy corner of Kyson's bedroom and watched as he came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist.
My heart swelled with pride as I looked upon my grandson. I have to say, I'm proud of my son for creating such beautiful children. Even though they get their looks from me.
Kyson went into the closet to get dressed. He was doing okay, so I teleported to my next destination.
I ended up in another shadowy corner, but in an office at Conner and Mali's house. Broady and his friends were having a conversation. Daffodil was sitting on his lap.
"So, what are we going to do about Olivia?" Conner asked.
Broady sighed heavily. "I have no idea. Every time I turn around, she has another ability that makes my mind frizz. She's more powerful than any of us expected. She can do things that I've never even seen before."
Dilly furrowed her brows in confusion. "What do you mean? Do what?"
"This morning, Olivia drop-kicked me deaf in my left ear during training." Everyone gasped. Dilly tilted his head to the side to check out his ear.
"Wow. Are you okay?" Claire's voice was filled with shock and humor. Broady glared at his friend and rolled his eyes in annoyance before speaking again. "Yeah, I'm okay. A few seconds after she made me semi-deaf, she healed it. It was like it never happened." Broady said, moving Daffodil's hands away from his face, and placing a kiss on them.
Everyone's eyes in the room widened, including mine. Not because of the power that she possessed, but because of her skill. It took me years to figure out how to conjugate the life element to heal others. It's no easy feat. Finding the balance between life, death, limbo, and health was not easy. It takes a lot of practice along with mental and physical strength and stamina to be able to heal wounds. It was one of the last lessons I learned in my training all those millennia ago because of how energy-consuming it was. For Olivia to do it just twenty-four hours after getting only a fraction of her powers back, was monumental. I couldn't help the pride that swelled in my chest at the power of my granddaughter. She was going to be a great savior. And an even better point to the pentacle.
"That doesn't sound like something a normal tribal wolf can do. Maybe that's from your side of the family," Daffodil said. And she was right, it isn't a power trait of the tribal wolves, but it is for the Fae and Druids.
"I highly doubt that. The only thing a shadow wolf is capable of is traveling to and using the shadow realm. We can't do what she did," Broady countered.
"Dilly's right," Mali interjected. "Where could Olivia have gotten that power from if not from you, Broady? No Tribal wolf in history has been able to do something like that. Or at least there aren't any records of one."
"Maybe you should call Judis. Ask him if there's anything in your lineage that could contribute to Olivia's abilities." Isaac hummed.
"Okay, I'll call him. But I'm telling you, there isn't anything like this in my family. I'm certain of it." Broady sighed and pulled out his phone to dial Judis' number.
