-Sapphire's POV-
I woke up by the sun hitting my face and the birds cheekily singing. I groaned when the alarm went off in an annoying sound. I turned around to face my side table and turn it off. As soon as I was done with that, I stood up, walked over to the bathroom, and did my morning routine.
-a a few minutes later-
When I was done, I went down to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. Mom had been up early, so she'd left a note in the more frigid. It read. "Hello Dear, I'm sorry that I wasn't there to wake you up, but I had to leave early since it was an emergency at work. You'll find good in the fridge.
That's all:)
~love, mom
I smiled and threw the note in the trash. Then, when I was almost done making a few pancakes for breakfast, I heard the sound of claws cluttering against the floor. I looked down and saw my cute Aussie, Mango. He looked up and me and wagged his tail as he stroked himself against my legs.
I smiled and patted him on the head.

I was walking to the table me and my friend usually sit at all the time. On my way over there, I bumped into someone. I groaned and took a hand to my forehead where I had hit, but after I lifted my head and said, "Oh, I'm so sorry!". I had my hands outstretched and a worried look on my face. The person chuckled and assured me that he was fine. He then turned around so I could see his face more clearly. He was one of the popular boys in my class, so I kind of already knew him, at least his name, Elias.
I haven't precisely cared about anyone in my class except for those I've been friends with. "You're the new girl, aren't ya?" he said in a kinda, superior tone. I was silent a while before answering. "Yes, I'm Sapphire; you're Elias, right?" I said and shifted a little in my place. Elias smiled and reached one of his hands out to me so I could shake it. I gave him a weird look but shook it. "I guess ill see ya around then, bye," he said and dashed off somewhere else, probably with some girls.
I shrugged and went to our table. After a few minutes, one of my other friends, Tiril, came. I haven't talked to her so much. But, we're at least friends. "Hey, Saph," she said with a smile as she sat down. I smiled back at her and went back on my phone. Minutes later, had rest of our group came. We all went to our classes.
Since it was my first day, I hadn't been introduced to the class we were having now, which was English. I went and sat together with Beli and Donut since I barely knew anyone here. Our teacher, Desire noticed me and smiled warmly as our eyes met; I smiled back. "Okay, class, today we have a new student, please come up, Sapphire," she said as I stood up and went up to the board. "annyeonghaseyo, my name is Sapphire. As you can hear, I'm not from your land. I come from America but lived in Korea for six years, so I speak some Korean."
As I silenced, the class remained silent. I felt a tad uncomfortable but brushed it off and went back to my seat.
-after class-
The girls and I sat at our regular table again when suddenly I felt someone tapping me on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Elias standing there. He had a smile on his lips. I nodded back in respect and also to show that I had accepted his presence.
"Umm, Sapphire, may we talk? Alone" he said, and his eyes darted over my friends. I frowned but stood up and followed him to somewhere else. We stopped at the lockers. "So, what do you wanna talk to me about?" I asked as I stopped and leaned against a locker. Elias cast his eyes downwards z as if he was unsure if he should be talking to me.
I sighed softly but quietly so he couldn't hear it. Thankfully, he didn't. He then looks up at me, our eyes locked. "Umm, it's a little difficult to say this since I dint know how you'll react..." He trails off and looks down again. I'm starting to get a little impatient but keep a straight face. Soon enough, he looks up, and our eyes meet again.
"I... Did you want to hang with my friends and me my friends today after school?" he said in one breath? When he silenced, my breath hitched but came out as a sigh I didn't even know I was holding. I nodded, then said. "Sure, it'll be fun," I said with a smile. Elias smiled back, and then he and to his friends, leaving me alone at the lockers.
I huffed and walked back over to my friends. "So what was that about?" My friend Beli said when I came. I was silent and sat down before pulling up my phone, then I looked at her, giving her a small smile. "He just asked me if I wanted to hang out with him and his friends today after school," I said in a calm tone. Beli, on the other hand, became red of joy, and she screeched. " That's so good! I'm happy for you! You gotta let me help you get ready," she said. Soon she quickly changed to a severe face and stood up.
She then dragged me after her, leaving me to alsomt fall of my chair. We stopped outside the girl's bathroom, and I janked my arm free from her grip (gently). "What's wrong?" I said as she looked around us. I did the same but didn't care. "You know, Donut like him, don't you?" She whispered. I nodded slowly, thinking that it would maybe not be an excellent choice to hang out with him. But I didn't exactly hang out with him, so I didn't see the deal.

What do you think the deal is? Why would she care if you just hung out with his friends? The comment did what you 🤔-Saph
