"What the... where... am I?" Doug rubbed his forehead, slowly opening his eyes to a big circular room-like structure. It was just like a ballroom, with a golden statue in its centre. Lit up by small yet beaming lights, the reflective marble floor was cold on Doug's face. Standing in the distance was a strange figure. Was it... a woman?
"Get up, love, this is no time to be resting. Especially on my polished floor!" Nudging Doug with her foot, the mystery woman gazed down on him with an irritated look on her face. "My, you've been met with a drastic fate haven't you? No need to worry, love. I can give you exactly what you desire... no matter how much you may deny it". Although he had no idea what she was talking about, Doug knew she was the only spark of hope he has of figuring out what's going on. No matter how mysterious she is. He stood up, struggling a bit. Soon he was face to face with the woman standing before him. Clad in a long, black dress (not missing any cleavage), she kept some contrast going with her wild-styled white hair. Across her chest were three purple crystals connected by a thick necklace, two very similar crystals used as earrings, and one to bring the front of her dress together.
"If you can help me, I will give you your life back, everything you had and more. However, I can't do it without a ring called The Riddle Of Heaven. The ring holds demonic powers, which I can channel for my own bidding. I, unlike its previous owner, will use it for anything but evil. The pieces to this powerful ring are hidden in nightmares behind each of these portals. Find them, and bring them to me. And you'll get your wish." She instructed to Doug.
Even though he still didn't quite understand the situation, he decided to oblige. What other choice did he have? To his left, a dark black and red portal opened up. Upon it was the twisted face of a...monkey? All Doug could think about was how strange this was, but how scary can a monkey be?
Once he entered the portal, Doug found himself in a hallway-like structure. A dark hallway with a dismal red lighting. In the distance was an open doorway, with nothing but darkness to be seen beyond it. Every echoed step he took felt more like an impending doom, as cold whispers around him grew more hectic and invasive to his ears. Yet their words were incoherent.
