Moments after I finished reading the message paper, began falling from the skies. I reached out and took the paper. There were names listed on the front and back of the page. Payne and I began skimming through the long list of names.

"Grace Williams," Payne mumbled.

"What?" I looked at my sister. Her eyes were focused on the page.

"Your name," She pointed to a name towards the bottom of the page. "Grace Williams, New York City."

"What about your name?" I asked skimming the page once again.

"I'm not there. Grace I'm not on the list!" A sudden shock rushed through me.

"Are they just going to steal you from me?"

"They can't do that! I'm only eleven! I won't last without you!" Payne and I moved back inside while she spoke.

"You won't leave me! I forbid it!" I stared at the paper once more, trying to skim through the names. I guess I couldn't accept the fact that I would have to block all contact from my family.

I snapped back into reality when there was a bang on the door. I walked to the door, paper still in hand, and Payne following me.

I opened the door to reveal a man in a white mask and dark sunglasses. He wore a dotted suit and striped top hat.

"You have twenty minutes. Only twenty minutes until the Game begins." the man said in a deep inhuman voice. I closed the door not saying anything.

"You're coming with me. Payne go get dressed. Whether they like it or not I'm going to take you with me." I looked down to Payne.

"Deal?"

"Deal!"
