Prologue

Hey, my name is Brooke Hancock, I'm 18 years old, and I live in Mooresville North Carolina. It's just me and my mom. I go to Davidson Day High School, I'm a senior this year and there's only about 1 month left of school. I have long blonde hair that reaches all the way down my back, bright green eyes, and I'm 5'6. My best friend is Emma Adams. Emma has been my best friend since I was in 3rd grade. We literally finish each other sentences. I HAD another friend until a few years ago. Nash Grier. Nash and I have been friends since I moved here in 2nd grade. We weren't as close until middle school. A little secret; I started getting feelings for him in high school, but me and Nash haven't talked since about 9th grade. We just drifted. It happened at a party. I wasn't as popular as him and he stopped taking to me. I don't know how it happened, but I miss him. And after 9th grade, I have hated him since. But the problem is, our parents are friends. And tomorrow we are going to a party at his house his family is hosting. This ought to be fun.
