The ceremony

~Asashi~

After the day Izu-Chan lost his parents, his friends. The only survivor was him and his personal guard with half of his Kingdom. One day when I was talking with Izu-Chan about how to deal with their dead bodies. Someone interrupted.

~End of POV~

"Your highness." A person knelt down with his head down. He was dressed in black covering both his nose and mouth appear.

They both turned to the voice. Asahi looks at Izu and then at the man in black. He let Izu stand in front of him.

"What's wrong?" Izu said.

"They wish for you to send them to the wheels of reincarnation." the man said.

"The wheels of reincarnation?" Asashi look at Izu who had a sad face.

"I understand." Asashi was so confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Didn't you know the Seirin Prince represents life? Prince Izu who is good at playing flute and the heir of the Prince Seirin must send the dead to the wheels of reincarnation to rest in peace." the man said. 

"How?" Asashi said.

"What do you mean how? Playing the flute of course what do you think our Prince has a talent for." said the man.

"Why are there a lot of people gathering here?" Takeshi yawned.

"Do not yawn your being rude," Mitsuru said.

Takeshi just clicked his tongue annoyed by Mitsuru.

Asashi looked around to see if Izu was anywhere. People told Seirin Prince to gather around. Asashi noticed something he heard people were crying and whispering. Suddenly, the man they saw earlier walk up to the stage. Everyone is quite down.

"Hello everyone, as you may already know, I'm the Seirin Prince personal bodyguard. Today we have lost some important people. I am saddened by this. Today their family and friends are here to see them and mourn from them when they leave. But don't worry today the Seirin Prince will be peacefully sending them to the wheels of reincarnation to rest in peace. Let us pray." he walked to the side of the stage and bowed closing his eye.

All of the soldiers and people also got to their knees and close their eyes. Asashi and his friends were wondering why was everyone on their knees. Confused they also did the same thing.

Asashi and his friends followed them.

Suddenly there was a sound of bells. It was coming closer and closer. Akashi looked up and saw Izu dressed in traditional with a sew blue crystal. There were bells on his legs and arms. On his head was a golden crown with a blue short curtain. Izu was walking gracefully with girls and priests behind him caring for flowers. They went to the stage and put the flowers on top of the graves.

In the middle was water surrounded by the graves. The people bowed to Izu then left leaving Izu to walk up to the stage.

"Today a very important person or someone has lost a family and friends. The king and queen of the Seirin Kingdom are gone. Even if they're gone we know that they will always be with us. We must move on and think about the future. I won't forget about the people who have died for us and protected us. Please may they rest in peace and live a happy life as you go through the wheels of reincarnation. I will guide them." Izu bowed.
