"Got anything? The killer's location? Or clues perhaps?"

"No sir, not even a single bit. This killer sure knows how to hide well."

"That's impossible. Where's Detective Choi? I'm sure he knows something about this suspect."

"He's not coming here." A cold and raspy voice rang through the hallway which captured their attentions.

"Good to see you Choi Daniel, it's been a while since we saw each other."

He laughed before saying, "So do I Mr. Han but let's not talk about that for now. Beom- I mean, Detective Choi drove Bennie Ann to the nearest hospital. Probably gonna ask her about the crime scene."

"What a good move. Hmm, do you know where they are though?"

"Absolutely not. He forced me to come here alone. Didn't even dare to say goodbye."

Mr. Han grabbed his bag and wore his long coat, "Want to come with me? I really need to speak to him."

Daniel shook his head signaling him a no, "I have things to do. I'm sorry Mr. Han."

"No, it's okay, I'll be right back."

Mr. Han softly closed the door before leaving Daniel at the office.

"Now, where is it?"

"Glad you came Mr. Choi."

Is that supposed to be mine or Daniel? Both of us share the same surname. Nah, probably me, Daniel popped out of nowhere at the crime scene.

"Excuse me sir?"

I quickly snapped back to my sense and looked at her, "Yes? Is there something wrong?"

"Are you somehow related to the victim?"

"About that, no we're not related. But she's my workmate's wife-"

"Acquaintance?"

"No, friends."

The nurse nods her head before looking down at her papers, "She's perfectly fine, but she probably needs more blood and rest. She lost a lot of blood."

"Is that so?" I stood up, shoving my hands in my pockets, "Yes sir, I guess you can lea-"

"Detective Choi there you are!" The nurse go cut off by a loud voice echoing at the hall.

"Oh, Mr. Han, what are you doing here?"

"I need to talk to you and Bennie Ann."

"I believe you can't visit her for now sir. She needs to rest first."

Mr. Han looked at the nurse and gave her a disappointed with a mix of annoyed face, he faked a smile before saying, "Well then, I guess we're off now."

The nurse bowed a little before leaving Detective Choi and Mr. Han alone.

"What a shame, can't even talk to the victim."

"It's fine, we can visit her tomorrow here. I hope she'll be safe in here."

"Oh, I almost forgot why I came here in the first place, come let's visit the café nearby."

Mr. Han walked with me as we headed toward the café nearby, a lot of things are still occupying my head so I can't even speak well to him.

"And then my wife- Choi? Are you even listening?"

"H-Huh? Oh yeah."

"I wouldn't want you be more stressed sir, and it's okay, as a detective, our mind wouldn't stop thinking about something."
