Colossians 3:10
And have put on the new self, which is being renewed In knowledge in the image of His creator.
Put on the new self found in Christ Jesus. And dump your old self behold the old things have passed away and all things have become new.
Take up your new identity in Christ, put on the new self that is renewed in knowledge of the image of its creator. Out on the new self devoid of the flesh.
Colossians 2:11-15
2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Putting off the flesh, killing the flesh, suppressing the flesh and all its old and dirty practices is the circumcision of the Spirit.
By burying your flesh and the renewal of your mind you are quickened by the Holy spirit.
To draw more from the well of the Holy spirit you must die each day to the flesh, death with honour, death with glory. Don't give room for the flesh to ventilate kill it and then at the end you will emerge gloriously in your full apparel clothed with righteousness.
As you grow in God the only safe way is the narrow path.
