Oh young Goddess , you must stop me. I forget the world – it's chaos , and the bloodbath , the fates and their curses at the gods , when your skin lies upon mine. You have made me , the ruler of the unseen and the dead , a mere puppet of your will.
Persephone , my love , I abhor you – for cursing me with this so called passion – for loving me with those sanguine lips that can only lie – for making me feel like a mortal , beneath your bejewelled eyes and your carmine lips.
I fear you , Persephone , your faith and belief in me – your devotion and the calm your semblance holds. Don't go , now , this your fault – love me till the end of time , you have tied your fate to mine. Wash your past away in the tides of Lethe.
