Who Do You Like? (Kagehina)

Hinata's POV

I walk over to yams while he's working on his jump float during practice, and start up a conversation. "Hey tadashi! Can I ask you something?" He stops and looks at me.

"Huh? Sure, what is it?"

"So, I like this person, and I'm thinking of asking them on a date, but I have no clue how I'd do that."

"Okay... And you're coming to me about this because...?"

"Aren't you dating saltyshima?" He goes red and laughs nervously. I look at him unamused. "Come on, just help me out here." He clears his throat.

"Right, well, umm... I guess just do something you both like, maybe get something they like? Then I guess just ask them after a bit, you know?"

"Okay. Now it's just a matter of figuring out where to take him."

"Him?" I freeze.

"I didn't mean to say that!" I yell out, feeling my face flush red. He laughs a little.

"It's cool, I won't tell anyone. For the first date, just do something simple. Like the park, or an arcade. Something where you both can have a good time together. Now, mind if I ask who it is?"

"I don't want to say right now. He might overhear me."

"Oh, so it's someone here. Alright."

I hear Hinata talking to Tadashi about asking someone out, and I feel my heart break a little. I keep a plain face while I hear them talking about date plans, and how he's in this room. I show no emotion, waiting for it to pass or till I can be alone to let it out. 

I walk home with Hinata after practice like I usually do, and treasure this time as much as I can, since it's likely we won't be doing this again, or at least with it being just the two of us. "Hey kags?" I look at him and hum as a response. "Wanna hang out tomorrow?" 

"Sure. Your place or mine?"

"My place works. Come around noon or so, kay?" I nod as he starts to get on his bike. "Alright! See ya then!" He looks happier than normal. What's going on with him?
