¨Hurry up firekit!¨ Whitekit yelled.¨I coming!¨ Firekit yelled back as she rushed out of the nursery. ¨Mom should have named you slowkit¨Whitekit said, bobbing her sister on the nose. ¨Ugh stop that¨ Firekit growled,chasing her sister around in circles.¨Now stop that! You will get all dirty before the naming ceremony!¨ Their mother Cloudwhisker purred, licking both of them on the head. ¨Stop that!¨ Firekit giggled.¨Clan Meeting!¨ Their leader yelled from the highrock. ¨Now go along!¨ Cloudwhisker said nudging her kits in the direction of the highrock. They both raced off in the direction of it, and Firekit felt happier then she ever had,she was going to get her name! She would be Firepaw! A apprentice! As she came closer to the highrock she could feel the many eyes watching her. She finally sat down in front of the highrock. She was ready to receive her new name.
