WHY NOT ME? [KOKO × Y/N FANFIC]

CHAPTER O2: LUNCH

Morning classes ended and it's now lunch. Koko looks calm but he moves way faster than he usually does while packing his things.

'Is he excited?' I thought suddenly popped into your mind.

You got out of the classroom together and there you bump with his gang members, they always pick Koko up for lunch. Not knowing why, you just let them take Koko away.

"Gotta eat lunch with her, I'll just join you guys tomorrow." He said and they just nodded at him.

You both headed straight to the cafeteria without talking to each other. You've been friends since you were kids but you never talked to him like how a normal childhood bestfriends do.

But still, with those little interactions... You couldn't help but to catch feelings.

Because who wouldn't, Koko is handsome, tall and wise. He also knows how to fight, what more could you ask for?

"Y/N-chan!" You didn't even realized that you're spacing out when Akane-chan called your name.

You and Akane lined up at the counter and Koko just followed. You find it weird because he was unusually quiet today. You also feel like he's a bit stiff.

After ordering the food, all of you sat at one of the tables. Akane is also quiet and it bothers you, thinking that they are not comfortable with each other.

"Uhm.. Shall I introduce you to each other?" You asked and they just both stared at you.

'This is awkward!'

You cleared your throat before speaking, hoping that yoy could break the ice between them.

"Koko, I want you to meet Akane-chan my best friend. And... Akane-chan meet Koko, my friend."

"A-ah.. He's the one you're always talki--" your eyes widened and immediately covered's mouth. You find it embarassing if Koko finds out that you're always talking about him.

"Nice to finally meet you, Akane." Koko smiled and Akane-chan did too when they shaked hands. Feeling happy that both of your closest friends are also friends now, you smiled widely.

"Alright! shall we eat?"
