Hi, everyone. ❤

After taking some time away from Wattpad for my mental health, I'm back with a new fanfic for you guys. I'm writing the actual story on a word document and copying/pasting the chapters into Wattpad as I go. I think this will help me write at a more relaxed pace so I don't spend as much time here thinking about what to write every chapter. I want to enjoy writing this and not make it seem like a chore, which I'll admit I haven't always taken the time to do.

This short story is unlike anything else I've written before. I've been inspired to write something like this for a couple months now, and I'm happy to finally be getting it on (metaphorical) paper. This story is pushing me out of my comfort zone a bit because there are some personal elements connected to it, but it's also incredibly freeing to help make awareness of these issues accessible to all, especially through two characters we all adore. I think it could help others going through similar things, too. If nothing else, I just hope it helps open some minds.

I was trying to decide if I wanted to make it a long story, or something shorter. I've decided I'm going to make it kind of like a longer one-shot. It will likely be just a few chapters. My goal is to finish this story within a week; hopefully less.

I wanted to put in some warnings here before really getting into the story. This story does portray topics that may be delicate for some. These topics include:

- infertility and reproductive health

- menstruation/periods

- alcoholism

- mental health

- arguing

- sex (and lots of talk about sex - though most of you enjoy these parts :))

I sincerely hope I'm not forgetting anything. I apologize in advance if I am. Just...please read with caution, and please be aware there will be some emotionally heavy parts in this story.

Some background: This story takes place in the year 2000. Warning is in the process of being recorded. Billie and Adrienne have been married and trying to get pregnant for six years. What they want more than anything is a baby of their own. This story is a brief glimpse into their rollercoaster ride journey of loss, hope, bitter heartache, and, all the while, despite those struggles: their steadfast, unconditional love for one another.
