It was dark out.

A cool breeze whistling through the air, bright stars twinkling in the sky with the bright moon. Two expensive cars sped down a dead end road, full of teenagers who were going to be attending a party; a party that would rank the group of friends whether they were popular, or not. As simple as it was , they were pumped. Being rejected throughout the first two years of their high school career, this could be the start of a new beginning for themselves.

Scarlett Mason had her eyes set on Cameron Dallas, and even though he wasn't as popular as she was, she was willing to do him and his friends a favor. Cameron always had a crush on Scarlett, and tonight was the kindling flame of their fresh relationship.

The big mansion that was left to Scarlett for the night lit up like a Christmas tree across the giant front lawn with a fountain in front of the curved driveway.

Cameron and his friends leaped out of their cars, prancing up the stairs to be greeted by Scarlett herself. The short blondes eyes lit up as she jumped into Cameron's arms. The friends soon found their way out back to where there was a big pool full of juniors and seniors. Snack tables displayed everywhere along with beer kegs sitting by the pool. Soon enough, they split up, having a good time doing whatever they had desired in their dreams.

Taylor and Aurora sat in a lounge chair, finally admitting their feelings for each other. Cameron and Scarlett on the edge of pool making out. Aaron and Carter competing against each other as to who could do a handstand the longest on a beer keg, and drink the most beer. Shawn was with the Dj, learning and playing the latest top hits. Mahogany, along with the Jacks and Jacob, were dancing and grinding with everyone else.

In the distance, Matthew and Hannah were talking by a snack table, holding hands as they held a red solo cup in the other hand. Nash and Lydia were laughing and hitting it off pretty well just as everyone else was.

Scarlett placed her head on Camerons shoulder, taking a deep breath. "I knew there was something special about you, Cameron. You're not lame like everyone else says you are." She planted a kiss on his shoulder and a smile emerged on his face, along with a blush.

"Yeah, well, that's what everyone says about me. Yunno?" Cameron shrugged slightly as he turned his head to look at her sparkling brown eyes. He took a deep breath, hoping he could smell her sweet perfume, but got nothing but a whiff of alcohol and weed. He didn't mind it, this was the party life.

The music got more louder, and more smoke drifted through the air. Drugs were passed around for everyone to get high, to make the night last longer with a little more fun.

"Do you want to go somewhere a little more private?" Taylor asked Aurora. She lifted her head off his chest, looking into his eyes, they both knowing what to do. But as for other people, Hannah and Matthew were getting it on by the pool, not even half naked yet.

Cameron had Scarlett pinned up against the side of the shed, running his tongue up and down Scarletts neck, her moans ringing in her ears. He kissed her neck on both sides and he kissed her nose. He went down from there; kissing her chin, her throat, her chest, her stomach, until she exhaled deeply. Cameron looked up at her. Scarlett had her eyes squeezed shut and leaning her head backwards. "Please."

So he did.

Scarlett Mason was reported dead early this afternoon after a few students had witnessed her suicide on campus of Los Angeles High School. Police interviewed her friends and family as to why she might have been pushed to these lengths to where she needed to end her life.

"Cameron. Cameron Dallas," A news reporter shouted out. "Do you know why your girlfriend of thirteen months had committed suicide? Could it have been possible that she was tired of your guys' relationship?"

Cameron pushed his way through the paparazzi, making his way towards his car. He held his hand out, blocking out the flashes from the cameras, even though he had black sunglasses on his face.

"Cameron, why did she do it?"

"How do you feel about your girlfriends passing?"

"Will you ever move on?"

"Why did Scarlett Mason kill herself?"

Cameron unlocked his car and got in the front seat. Before he slammed it shut, he looked straight through the live streaming camera. "It was the video."

And they never bothered Cameron again.

But the rumours still leaped around from person to person as the friends walked the hallways together.

"Did you see that video of Scarlett?" The rejected Emo girl with too much black makeup asked her Emo boyfriend.

"Yeah," he nodded. "Such a stupid hoe."

"Attention whore."

"Freak."

"Slut."

No matter what it was and who said it, Cameron heard it all. After first period, the whole school was given a single rose. They gathered outside by the flagpole where a shrine for the lost teenager was displayed.

"Scarlett Mason is no longer in our lives," Principal Amber trailed on and on about Scarlett. But as everyone thought to themselves all of the terrible things she had done, they also thought that if it was anybody else there would be no ceremony to honor the last bread crumbs of memories they had for the most popular girl. And now, the most hated and gladly forgotten slut.

The legacy of Scarlett Mason still lives on.

The video was never taken down. And neither was the suicide.
