~Your pov~
We stopped hugging when his mom calls us for dinner. We walk downstairs and see his mother and his sister sitting at the table, his father is probably working or something . We eat our broccoli and chicken in silence, sometimes we make small talk, like how our days were and if we are going to do something tonight. After around an hour we are done eating and his sisters go upstairs again. I help his mom clean up the table and thank she that she let me stay here as long as i want. She tells me it is no problem and hugs me and i hug back ofcourse.
When i am done helping i walk upstairs to Thomas his room. (It is currently 8.30 p.m)
'Hii rose" hii Thomas'
I plof down on his bed.
'So what are we gonna do now Thomas'
'Idk maybe we can watch a movie Rose'
Sure, sounds good, which one'
'Uhm, IT?
'No, i wont sleep for days then, i hate horror movies'
'Still?
'Still.'
'Then what do you watch?'
'Uh, romantic stuff, things like the hungergames, thrillers, harry poter, Percy jackson'
'Okay yeah, i dont watch anything like that so you can pick a movie. Nothing to cheesy tho'
I nod and He hands me the remote. I scroll for a few minutes on Netflix till i find a movie, 16 candles.
'Is it not cheesy'
'A little, not much'
'Alright than what is it about'
'It's about a redhead girl whose parents forget her birthday because it is a day before her sisters wedding and she has a crush on a guy who is a senior but she is sophomore herself. But she has someone her grade who is madly in love with her, it's a guy who is a real nerd and also kinda a stalker but he is very funny and amazing and nice,so yeah. It's a good old movie'
'Alright, sounds very complicated but put it on'
I smile and press play. When the movie is halfway done ,Thomas says he is gonna grab some chips and something to drink and asks if i want anything. I say i like to have some ice tea and thank him. When he is out of the room i grab my phone and start calling Summer.
'Hey Summer'
'Hii girl, how are you?'
'Really good, Thomas and his family have been very nice to me these past days and you,have some spicy rumours?'
'Well actually, i heard that Lila got with Jaxx.'
(Jaxx is the towns biggest player/ has slept with many girls(and guys but not many people know that. He told me when he was drunk))
'No way'
'Yes way, they both have a picture on instagram of them kissing'
'Hold a second, seriously'
'Yep'
'Wait, i'm gonna take a look. Wait a sec.'
'Sure'
I go to my Home Screen and open instagram and go to Lila's instagram account. And it is true, she has a photo of them kissing.
'Okay it is true that they are dating'
'I already said that miss'
'Sorry'
'No problem, it is a big shock'
'Kinda not hough'
'Yeah, you are right'
We begin to laugh, my bestfriend is something. Then Thomas walks in and we say our goodbyes and hang up.
'So who was that' he asks
'Just Summer'
'From elementary school?'
'Yep'
'Wow you're still friends after all these years, that's really nice. I can not say i am surprised, you were always together'
I blush a little and laugh.' That is definitely Summer and I'
He laughs and gives me my drink. He goes to sit back on the bed and plays the movie again. When it is 10.45 p.m the movie is over.
'So'thomas says
'Yes?'
'I am going to a friends house tommorow in the evening to hang out with the whole friend group.
I nod.
'If you want you can come with me or stay here with Sofia'
'I think i will come with you, it's good to meet new people' i smile at him' but who are your friends?
'Oh yeah, it is Liam, James and Logan from elementary school and Jaxon,Luca and Cody who we met through school or sport'
'Oh okay,sounds nice'
He nods 'nice'
