The Truth About Squidward

The Story

Squidward had a crush on Squilliam since highschool but since Squilliam was straight Squidward knew it would never happen and he filled the void with SpongeBob. SpongeBob is head over heels for Squidward, unknowing of Squidward's true feelings for Squilliam. he starts being distant towards SpongeBob and rude in hopes SpongeBob would break it off so he wouldn't have to. What he doesn't know is that SpongeBob has a degradation kink which makes him live Squidward even more. Squidward confides in Mr Krabs for advice and Krabs tells him to follow his heart and break it off. he works up the courage and visits SpongeBob after work. SpongeBob answers the door and sees his solemn face, he knew what was going to happen. Squidward was invited inside and sat at the table with SpongeBob. Gary sensed the energy and hid in his shell, knowing what was about to unfold. Squidward looked deep into SpongeBob's eyes before looking away, hiding tears. "Squidward voice SpongeBob we need to talk". SpongeBob tries holding back tears and nods his head. Squidward explains everything. his long term crush on Squilliam, the rebound, the one-sidedness. SpongeBob couldn't bear it anymore, he needed to be alone. He ushers Squidward out of his house before burying his face into a pillow. Gary tried to comfort him but nothing was working. there was a knock on the door. SpongeBob drags himself out of bed and walks to the door. The door slowly opens and he sees his best friend, Patrick. Patrick opens his arms for a hug and SpongeBob collapses onto his chest, sobbing about what happened with Squidward. Patrick looks forward while hugging SpongeBob, thinking of what Squidward had done to his best friend. He took SpongeBob inside and sat him down on the couch. He brought some of SpongeBob's comfort items with him. Patrick waited til SpongeBob fell asleep to get his revenge on Squidward for hurting the one he loved. He left the pineapple house quietly to not wake up SpongeBob. He knew exactly what to do to Squidward. Patrick waits till nightfall. He watches Squidward enter his house, visibly calm. Beforehand, Patrick grabbed squilliums address from Squidward's coffee table during the work day. He was going to break Squidward, one way or another. He crept towards squilliums door and opened it without a single creak. Squilliam fast asleep, Patrick grabbed the fancy squid and took him to the krusty krab. Sandy and Pearl are waiting for their arrival. Patrick sits Squilliam on the barrel and brings over the two girls. Squilliam awakens in fear, not knowing where he is or who these people are. Patrick spills about Squidward and SpongeBob. Squilliam knows about Squidwards feelings, he goes deadpan. Sandy notices this and asks Squilliam what he's thinking about. Squillium explains that Squidward had been stalking him since highschool. always ending up in the same town, place, even neighborhood he's in. Pearl had a disgusted face, now knowing she was right about Squidward all along. all four of them develop a plan on how to get Squidward back for everything he has caused. the sun rises, it's almost time for the krusty krab to open. They all head home, waiting for the sun to set. SpongeBob arrives at work early to unlock the door as Krabs was out sick. still depressed from the past few days, he headed towards the kitchen in hopes cooking Krabby patties would help. he hears the bell ring as the front doors open. it was Squidward. SpongeBob starts tearing up when he sees him and hides behind the stove, hoping the squid doesn't think he's here yet. the door swings open again, it's Patrick with a look of anger. he walks past the register and into the kitchen. he sits behind the stove next to SpongeBob and hugs him, reassuring the sponge that everything will be alright. Squidward sees a familiar face walking towards the glass doors, it was squilliam holding two pieces of paper. He had gotten a restraining order against Squidward and a note from Patrick. Patrick hears squilliam and grabs SpongeBob. he rushes out of the kitchen, trying to keep SpongeBob from looking back at the two squids. Patrick, holding SpongeBob close to his chest, explains to him that he won't have to worry about Squidward anymore. in the distance Squidward screams as squilliam exits the restaurant. Patrick puts SpongeBob in the passenger seat of his car. Squilliam waves as Patrick gets on the driver's side. Hey nods and drives off, never to return to bikini bottom again. SpongeBob worried about Gary and his household items. Patrick already packed everything up and Gary is sleeping quietly in the back seat. SpongeBob is finally happy, with the one who made him feel loved. The End.
