Ariel; Chapter 10

I get to my Nonna's and go to knock on the door and she opened it up and looked frail but opened her arms for a hug. " I missed you my darling." she said and I started tearing up, when my dad got cancer she said vile things about him and it made me hate her but looking at her now I feel bad I ever stopped talking to her. " Stop the tears now we have to talk, come sit I made Cannoli's."

We sat on the couch and she grabbed my hand " Now your mother knows why I had you come and not her, I don't have much time left and I want you to have my house." I was shocked to say the least I just looked at her with my mouth open, I mean this takes a lot of stress out of finding a place to stay but to completely move across the world is wild I barely remember the Italian she taught me when I was younger. " Close your mouth baby" she said with a small laugh " I want to keep this property in the family and your mother wants to keep her home because that was the last place she was with your father so that leaves you.."  she looked hopefully in my eyes and I didn't have the heart to tell her no, going through the pros and cons I couldn't find a good enough reason to not take this chance. A new start. " Anything for you Nonna." I say giving her a hug, she gave me a big smile and told me to look around the house while she talked with her hospice nurse.

After I looked around a bit I called my mom and told her I would be staying in Italy  and I texted Will and told him he would have to move here and put my phone on the dresser. Walking into the kitchen looking for something to eat I couldn't find anything "Nonna!" I slightly yelled trying to find her. " In here honey." she sounded exhausted and I felt bad for bothering her " Is there a grocery near by, I'm starving" I said chuckling " About a five minute trip up the road, take my car and my card. There's a small list on the fridge if you don't mind picking that up too."  I don't mind at all I said leaving to grab everything I needed. 

When I finally found the store it was easier than I thought it would be, and everyone was so friendly. I found this little restaurant on my way to the store so I decided to have lunch there. As I was eating I felt eyes on me and I looked around, I locked eyes with the sexiest man, like way hotter than Rio and I didn't think that was possible. I smiled at him and he nodded to the guy sitting next to him who stood and let me say he looked mad sketchy he approached me and didn't say anything just grabbed my arm and pulled me up and started walking toward the sexy man. " Um excuse me sir but why the fuck are you dragging me?" I tried pleading but it fell on deaf ears  this man was strong as hell and he only let me go when we were right in font of the man I just smiled at.

" What's you name Bellisima?" He said huskily and I almost forgot I got dragged over here. " Fuck no, that's not how this works, is this how you flirt here because I want no part of it."  He just smikred at me " Well Bellisima when I want something I'm very persistent, please tell me your name."  I just cocked my head at him what the fuck is up with my luck finding sexy men who are pushy as hell, I've read lots of books about this type of thing but living it is an actual hell. " I don't give a fuck I'm so over men like you." I say walking away, I got outside and just before I got to my car I felt arms around me and everything went black...

I woke up in a dark room and I started freaking out JUST MY LUCK I shouted and I heard the knob jiggle indicating that someone was coming into the room. I backed into the corner and watched as the sexy man from the restaurant came in. 

Gio; " hello beautiful, are you going to tell me your name yet?"

Ariel; " YOU FUCKING KIDNAPPED ME YOU PSYCHO WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?"

Gio; " Bellisima you are a little firecracker I love it, I apologize I know this is a bit unorthodox but I want you."

Ariel; " My name is Ariel you could've just asked nicely and ya know not kidnapped me, I have a very sick grandmother that I've been keeping company, so I'd like if you could let me go now." he just stared at me in almost amusement I couldn't really decipher the look he was hard to read.

Gio; " If I were to let you go would you give me an actual chance considering what I've done?" I thought about it for a second and just studied his face, he was very good looking there was no denying that and maybe things would turn out differently than with Rio I mean I've only known him for three days and the whole thing just got kind of fucked. I pushed Rio out of my mind and shook my head." If you go about this the right way I give my word that I will give you a real chance but I really do need to get back to my Nonna."  He looked into my eyes and I could tell he was in deep thought " are you going to tell me your name?" I said and he smirked " Giovanni" was all he said leading me to the door.
