Forever and Forever: A Wild Magic Short Story

*****NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: When I first started my Patreon, I had thought to put up some shorts and exclusive stuff. As I've been working on getting familiar with having a Patreon, and going through dry spells in my writing, and just life in general, I came to realize I don't want to have stuff that's exclusively away from people who maybe can't afford to support me on Patreon. As much as I can, until the day I maybe try to make a go of making this writing thing a real career, I don't want my stories to be kept away from people. Someday I may rely on that income, but for now sharing my stories on here brings me joy. And there's precious little of that going around right now.

And I'm not ready for my writing to be my sole focus yet.

So my Patreon has exclusive WIP sneak peeks, early chapters, and short stories will be put up four weeks before I'll make them public. I had someone give me the idea of maybe some deleted scenes too, but we'll see about that. You'll also just be the cool, awesome supporter who is able to throw some money at me *insert inappropriate stripper joke* just because you can and you're willing to do it to show me that there are some people out there willing to show their support in the monetary way. And believe me, it means something to me that I have people who do that for me and I love my Patreon peeps so, so much.

So, all that blabber leads to: I won't have any exclusive content anymore until I (someday, maybe) start to publish my stories.

"Marry me, Sami. Be my husband, and I'll be your mate, and we'll spend our lives being a really mismatched couple. What do you say?"

ROBERT—

I wanted to laugh as I watched Sera wrestle Sami down onto the bed, but I hadn't the energy after the day of "pampering" the damn woman had subjected me to. Slathering goo onto my face, trimming my nails, and cutting the hair around my cock until it was neat and tidy rather than a wild bush was not something I ever thought I would submit myself to. But then, I'd also never thought my best friends would be two men who had been married to each other nearly their entire adult lives, that I'd work for a man who had shocked an Empire by marrying a small, timid, male wolf shifter, and that I'd fall in love with a wee, male, cat shifter myself. So having my lover's best friend, a woman who had been born a man and who was possibly the most patient person I had ever met, drag me through the pre-wedding rituals had been fairly par for the course for my life in recent times.

Watching that same woman wrestle him on our shared bed, what was soon to officially be our marriage bed, didn't even make me hesitate to flop down onto the bed as she finally managed to shove one of Sami's legs into the suit pants.

"No! Sera, no! It's itchy and stiff and makes my balls hurt. I don't wanna wear the marriage pants!"

Sera groaned in exasperation and I had to hold myself back from chuckling for the dozenth time in as many minutes.

Gods, I had never laughed so much in my entire life as I did now that Sami was not only in my life, but belonged to me. My lover, my best friend, my greatest source of joy.

"Sami, be good for Sera. I thought you wanted to marry me?"

Sami froze immediately, he and Sera caught in a comedic pose as she tried to hold him down to the bed, nearly naked but for a loincloth and thin undershirt, one of his palms against her face to try to shove her away, the other frozen as it gripped at the sheets of our bed in his haste to escape the poor woman.
